They're always pleasant, it's a good company.

We hired this company back in May to perform our weekly lawn care services over the summer.  I suppose I should have known something might be wrong when they forgot about us after turning on our irrigation system.  By the time I got them back out to mow our lawn was extremely overgrown and long.  Though they did come weekly and mowed our front and backyard lawns, there seemed to never be any consistency with their work.  From coming on days other than expected, to later than expected (have 2 dogs so this was not ok when they spent most of the day in the garage awaiting the lawn services).  Also we experienced a difference each week in the way our lawns looked after they mowed.  Sometimes patches of grass were left/missed when mowed, edging was done by a weed whacker which whacked the heck out of the lawn, to just missing entire areas when mowing.  They were always in and out in record time and I think that was part of the problem.  When my husband and I brought a few of our concerns to the owner, Mark's, attention just last week (7/6/12) he told us "I don’t really think we’ve ever been the right fit for you."  We were blown away by his lack of maturity in customer service and realized it was time to move on.  He did not value us as customers and had no intentions of fixing or improving the services his crews provided.  Wanted to share our experience to save you some time and grief!  If anyone knows of a reliable, conscientious lawn care provider, please let us know! 

I have been using him for awhile. He is currently installing sprinkler and landscaping. He does our weekly lawn mowing. He is great. I have had no issues.

My experience with A Cut Above Land & Light Company went really well. They left a coupon on my door when they were done with their work. They had a web scheduling system, where we were able to set up appointments. Something came up and we had to reschedule. There were no issues rescheduling it online; it was easy to do. They showed up, they did what they did and charged what they said. It went well. Their pricing was very good. I didn?t shop around for a lot of estimates. They gave us a discount for having them do all three lawn care services at once. It was reasonable. Their professionalism, knowledge and friendliness were good, I think. However, we didn?t really talk to them much because we scheduled online. So, they just showed up, did the job and left; I guess I will not be able to rate on my interaction with them. I would never know that they worked in our lawn other than the fact that we could see the plugs from aeration. So they did good job with clean up after service.

A CUT ABOVE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY MADE SURE THE AREA WAS CLEAR & SAFE BEFORE STARTING TO TRIM THE TREES. THEY WERE VERY POLITE & HELPFUL. THE YARD LOOKED GREAT WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB.
