Another inspector did inspection of same house 3 months ago and completely missed several items that Peter told us had existed for a year or more which I could easily see. Peter Robberson noticed important issues, didnt make note of non-existent issue (as previous inspector had done) and didnt exagerate importance of trivial issues (as previous inspector from other company had done).
He was very professional, did not act like it was his house, was respectful and polite, talked technical when I indicated I was knowledgeable enough on an item but then talked using laymans simple terms when it was something I was unfamiliar with. he gave great advice on possible solutions and how important a fix was or was not.
This is a person who truly knows what he is doing while having great respect for the home owner. He didnt need to tear the place apart (like previous fool who removed screens for no reason, and broke one), didnt talk above his expertise or talk to confuse us. He was very fast because he was efficeint yet we never felt like he was rushing. It helps when the inspector is an expert and when he communicates clearly so there is no wasted time with confusion.
Compared to previous inspector of 3 months ago, Peter Robberson was downright amazing. I would not hesitate to recommend his company and service or use it again for any reason. Honest, Professional, Respectful, Knowledgeable, Well Informed, Excellent Communication Skills, and a TOP LEVEL EXPERT in his field.
"We were pleased to meet the [removed member name]. Their property was located in a different city. We performed a particular type of inspection at their property working for and on behalf of Blue Ribbon Home Warranty. This was so Blue Ribbon could begin their Warranty Contract with the Holsingers. As a contractor for Blue Ribbon we examine only specific items that their Warranty covers. However in the course of our evaluation of the Warranty items we made many observations we felt would be helpful to the Holsingers. The [removed member name] felt that the Home Inspector they'd hired when they'd purchased the house had overlooked items that we found in our specialty inspection. Mr. Holsinger was amazed because their full purchase inspection had continued for hours but we'd found important items while only there for 30-45 minutes.
