Waste Management

Waste Management services in the Colorado Springs area is awful. We had service for over three months and they only picked up on the scheduled day three times. Our containers arrived partially broken and filthy (still had some trash in them). Their local customer service is non-existent and the national support can not help with anything related to pickups and will literally disconnect with people unhappy with the service. We live in an area with bears and have had our trash ransacked because WM will not pick up trash in the morning. They want cans on the curb by 7 am but usually don't arrive before 5 PM if they arrive at all. Customers are forced to haul their cans in and out of their garage hoping they'll pickup the next day. We cancelled service and have been waiting two weeks to get the containers removed.

I was charged $240 for 3 months of service that I never received. When I called to cancel I spoke to Brian and he said that he will refund my payment and pick up the cans. After 2 weeks still no refund. Called and spoke to Antonio he said that there are no refund and I need to pay $124 to have my cans removed.

This company is horrible about responding to problems. They reschedule my pickups all the time and I usually do not get the message until late in the evening or next day. They also miss pickups. I can never reach them. They will not respond. And they are expensive. I would never use this company again!!!

Provider did not give any response on 2, 3, 4 or 5 June when I called.  so, on 5 June, I cancelled my service, and asked for a refund of the $113.77 that I had just paid on 1 June.   

Still no response from them, but on 15 June they said they had cancelled my service.  Again, I told them that since they no longer picked up my garbage, I wanted it stopped, and wanted a refund.   They again agreed to cancel my service, but that they did not give refunds.

Watch out for this company.  Maybe the entire office staff is on vacation, or maybe they are just incompetent.

I don't remember how much I pay, but I pay every 3 months. The price is better than what I use to have. The quality is great.

Driver does a good job of picking up the trash and not making a mess. I think the price increases have gotten out of control and I plan to look at other providers and compare.
