I had a terrible experience at the Veda Broadmoor Salon - I got a very bad burn during an eyebrow wax on Monday, August 3, and have a prominent, red 1.5-inch mark/scar on my face above one eye, still. New to the area, I relied on a favorable online review that said Veda was a good place to go, so I called and made an appointment. I didn't realize how bad the burn above my right eye was until after I left the salon. The woman who did the wax was very nice and said her specialty is eyebrows. I even tipped her for her work, not realizing I was badly burned. The wax felt hot, but not unbearably so. But when I arrived home, my skin was burning and I iced it for a while and applied burn ointment. A dark red mark appeared above my eye. A couple of days later, because I had received a courtesy call voicemail from someone at the salon wanting to know how my first visit was, I called back and let the receptionist know what happened. I figured feedback is helpful for any business (perhaps the employee who took care of me needs more training, or there is a problem with the wax heater, etc.), and frankly I was (am) upset about the mark on my face. This was on Thursday, August 6, and the employee told me a manager would get back to me. My call was never returned. So I paid $25, plus tip, for pain, discomfort an unsightly scar on my face, and when I called to complain I was ignored. What would have been better customer service, in my opinion, would have been 1) an apology; and 2) an offer of my money back. When I didn't get a call back after a week, I sent an email to the CEO of Veda. No surprise - I did not get a response. I will never go back to this salon and will not hesitate to let others know about the bad experience I had there as well as the poor customer service.

This provider is extremly knowledgable , polite, and friendly she gave me a shampoo , haircut , and blow dry. My hair feels and looks fabulous .

It's very nice salon. It's very clean and has good products, but they are kind of expensive.

Monique is my go-to stylist. I have been seeing her for over 5 years and have never had a bad haircut from her. She does all the and quot;standardsand quot; Veda offers but in addition she actually listens to me. I have had some problem hairs and she always comes up with a way to deal with them. I highly recommend her.
The salon is clean and professional.

Terrific. Kim Romano blow drys my shoulder length hair so it has bounce and a glow. She does not weigh you down with a and quot;promand quot; do but a stylish, sophisticated blow dry that will last for 3 days. She always shampoos twice and that really makes a difference.
Her team also does a great scalp rub which makes you feel like you have stepped out of your busy world to just enjoy you.
She is always my go to on a blow dry for an event.

Angela , as always, is very friendly and does a wonderful job.

I have been having Larissa do my hair for over a year now. I also see Angela on a monthly basis for a pedicure. I love my experience at the salon, from the delicious tea you can drink and the hand massage while my color is setting to the great head massage during the shampoo. Larissa is very professional and does a great job with my hair. Angela is awesome - from start to finish the pedicure feels great - not a painful moment! And Angela gives the best foot massage I've ever had. The prices are probably higher than a lot of places but not ridiculously so - you do get what you pay for.

I have straight hair and my new hair was suppose to match. My extensions
seemed to get curly and more so every day that passed. I thought the
hair supplier sent the wrong hair. I called and I was told -- oh no we
can only get wavy. BUT I WASN'T told this and spend a fortune? And why
can't you get straight? It's Great Lengths supposedly that makes
straight and you are suppose to be a top salon. I had to pay to have it
removed and new hair put in. I wasted all that money because they didn't
want to tell me they were putting in wavy hair because I would have
gone elsewhere.

I have always had great experiences at Veda. Tena, a massage therapist is wonderful as well. Great massage, no hassle, soothing environment. I really enjoy going to all Veda locations but the Southgate location is my favorite.

I didn't love my haircut or color, she had made a suggestion from something else I had requested. I had never been back and received better service at another salon, my hair dresser was also talking to another person about their personal life while doing my hair, I find it a little unprofessional.

Fantastic back massage. I have gotten the best every massages from this Veda location. The atmosphere is absolutely top notch. Beautiful building, aroma therapy, iced lemon water, friendly staff. It is a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case, it's all good.

I would not recommend them because the masseuse was inexperienced and not strong enough. This was the first time I used them.

I am grateful for the recommendation from a friend to experience Veda. When moving to this area a few years ago, I had no clue where to go for just a decent haircut. In haste, I went to a walk-in salon and the haircut was a disaster. How many times has one walked out of the salon embarrassed by the new do?
After my first haircut at Veda, I felt like a new woman and was extremely happy. I have returned multiple times over the years for a haircut and highlights and each time have been pleased. I have thin, fine hair and my hairdresser, Monique, always does an extraordinary job.
Since it is rather expensive to go on a regular basis, I have my hair done 3-4 times a year. It is well worth it!.

Jessica did a cut and color right after I had my baby. i was dying to get out of the house for me time. not only did she not talk to me the whole time but she cut my hair like i was 80 years old. She didn't listen to what I wanted and I hate it.....even 6 months later. The color looked great when i left but it did not last long. I will never ask for Jessica again!

I called and made an appointment. They called to confirm the appointment the day before. I went to the appointment knowing it
would take about an hour. The manicurist was on time and did a great job. I was out of there in an hour.

I get there, they offer me the best tea ever! I always take it. After a few minute wait, they call me back, I sit in the chair and discuss what I like about my haircut what I don't what I want etc. The stylist listens and also provides suggestions. The we go to the back and she washes my hair with great smelling products. She cuts my hair, then drys and styles it. She gives me a mirror and asks if I am satisfied, if I am not, then they will work to make it better. They walk me to the counter where I pay. It is a little costly, but if my hair cut is good, then I don't have to get it cut very often.

I've been going there for around 9 years. It's a nice facility. They have good people working there in all areas. They do skin, hair and massage. They don't do nails there. I've gotten a few massages there. They do a good job. It's a nice place to go to and it's a great atmosphere with good people. I like the products they use.

It is very peaceful and relaxing. I'm not an expert so I don't have much to say.

This is probably my 4 visit to the salon and I always go with the same stylist Jill. I go once a month for a deep conditioner. Her prices are reasonable and she is very friendly. She does just as good of a job as the top priced stylists in the salon.

I have also enjoyed and benefitted from the treatments I have received at Veda. I find their practitioners very professional and experienced and have always felt comfortable having them perform the treatments for me. They are very responsive to my statements of what may or may not be appropriate for my body. I love the calming music and scents in the facility. I never have to wait long in the waiting area. I have recommended them to many people over the years.
