They were great. It took two days to complete the job, and they were professional and courteous. They left our property clean, and we are very pleased with our new roof. It's a very high quality product and looks great.

Triton Roofing worked with my insurance company and replaced my roof. I am a land Lord and live out of town. They went over, inspected my roof, worked with my Insurance Company, and replaced the Roof, all without me being there. They were there on time, they communicated very well and did a great job. My insurance company had great confidence in them also. Because Triton's bid was lower then the insurance companies roof costs, we decided to put a hail proof roof on. This also lowered my insurance costs and did not cost me any more.

Shingles were delivered on Friday, October 7th and the installed the roof the next day.

We are 100% satisfied with Triton Roofing. We wanted to go with a local company that had been in business for a while and had a strong reputation for quality work. We liked that they have an office here in town and professional, educated employees that work for them. We have a 1920’s home that needed a whole new reroof and attic ventilation. They installed streamline intake and ridge vents that do not distract from the craftsman style roofline. This past winter, all the other craftsman houses had ice-dams along the bottom edge of the roofs. But our house was ice-dam free during each winter storm. Triton’s product quality and attention to detail is top notch. You wouldn’t know it but there are many ways that a roofer can cut corners to save time and money without the homeowner knowing about it. That is NOT how Triton Roofing does it. They do it right from beginning to end. Triton Roofing has great communication. All our questions and concerns were immediately and respectfully answered and addressed. All phone calls, texts, and emails were answered without delay throughout the reroof project. The Triton employees, the owners, and especially Neekoh, were a joy to work with. We cannot be happier that we chose to go with Triton.

Now with the hail storm I have to have another roof but I do not think I will use them again. I have a very old dog and they said it would be a short job, one day maybe a second day. I took my dog out of my house because she would not be able to handle the pounding. I stayed at a friends and came home late at night and there was nothing on my lawn so I thought they were done. I slept in and went to the bathroom where I have a skylight, as I was about to sit down I saw a leg go over. They had not finished. I think the first day they just took the first roof off. I was very shocked to see them up there. They roofed all day and I had not made plans to get my dog out there that day so then I had to and that was inconvenient. They stayed almost the whole day and then they put in gutters. They said they would be here Saturday morning to do it. I took the dog for a walk at 10am and they still had not arrived. They were there when I got back. They had just a little bit more to go and did not bring enough gutter so they had to come back another day. So what they told me and how it went did not match up. I was a little disappointed in that. I did not talk to them that much. The guy that came out and talked to me about the job was friendly and easy to get a long with but I was disappointed in deadlines and time issues, that they were not really accurate about. They met with what my insurance company allowed for. The workers did not speak English.

Justin came to house and did a thorough review of damaged roof and vents and then reviewed his recommendations for replacing hail damaged roof with some better roofing materials. These materials would perform better than high impact roof I had put on my house five years ago. I learned more about roofing in a half hour from Justin than I thought possible! Very thorough. He did not ask to see my insurance claim information as other roofers had asked for, but made up his bid based on his information and recommended product. His bid still came in as the best bid and I gave him the job based on bid and his excellent presentation. His crew was able to begin work a day earlier than originally planned and stuck with it even with less than ideal weather. Work was finished on a timely basis and clean up was excellent. Crew was very pleasant and responsive.

Triton is a top-notch company that not only worked hard to win the bid, they stayed in communication as the work was scheduled and work days were juggled around weather and other customer emergencies. They worked with me to stay on schedule and get the solar system working before the end of 2014 for my 2014 tax rebate to be in effect, and returned as needed to complete the roofing job and skylight installation. Their crew was nothing sort of stellar. They never left a mess and were friendly, hard working, and used good safety practices on the roof. I'm so glad I picked Triton for my roofing work!

Justin and Todd were quite simply, the answer to our prayers. They personally responded to our plea for help and scaled our steep roof to diagnose a problem with our chimney cover. These gentlemen took the time to listen to us and got us to the correct solution in a timely manner. This company is most deserving of its superior rating and we are very, very grateful.

Due to the style and difficulty of our multi directional tile roof, Triton had to install our solar panels in 3 different arrays. I attended a home show where I met Triton and initially began thinking about solar roof panels. Next, I did extensive research in the field with regards to panels, transformers/inverters, battery back ups, warranties, etc. I contacted 7 total solar installers. Triton was one of them, and was the last one I scheduled to visit our house and show me their product. I had tons of questions I presented to each of them... the same questions. Justin Baker, one of the Triton owners, did our presentation and spent several hours at our house explaining everything. After all, adding anything to a roof especially solar panels, is a major deal. I needed to be 100% confident and comfortable with both the product and the company. I am personally one of the hardest sells a contractor of any kind comes across. Justin took the time to make sure I understood everything, and brought samples of the actual products (panel, micro inverters, mounting brackets) to show me. His company did a thorough review of the utility bills I provided and showed me how and where I would save based on the sun patterns at my house based on the angle of my different roof/potential solar arrays and my electricity usage. The detail of their reports on energy savings was spectacular. Triton was the only company to do this. I was able to see how the seasonal changes effected my electricity savings. They also did a thorough hands on inspection of the roof to see if we could even install panels. He worked hand in hand with our utility company (Colorado Springs Utilities) and completed all paperwork with regards to installing panels and rebates. I interviewed and had 6 other solar companies visit the house and show me "their stuff". I was not impressed with any of them. Not one of the companies was both a roofer and solar installer, and believe me, I searched far and wide looking specifically for this factor. Several of the companies were rated good or better on other sites, with the BBB, etc. Triton was the only true high quality roofer who also knows the solar business. Some of the other companies provided basic sketches of what and how our panels would be arranged, including where the electric lines would run through the attic, etc. Five of the 6 were of poor quality, and two provided sketches in pencil/colored pencil on kids graph paper. Besides the cost of the solar, the others either worked with other roofers/electricians or wanted me to find a roofer/electrician for them to work with if I really wanted that aspect covered at my expected quality. This was an additional fee. Two tried to sell me old inventory they had sitting around. When I specifically asked about any building codes/fire codes all (but Triton) drew a blank and stated they would have to research that data. Not something you want to hear from solar contractors who are actively trying to sell and install their product in your area. You'd think they would do some research and at least be able to speak to the issue with professionalism. Most of the solar installers had not installed their panels on tile roofs, and wanted to "try" ours. I know, right... One even talked about making short cuts (that involved building code / fire safety) and hoped the final inspection folks from the county wouldn't notice. Triton was well versed in building code/fire safety and it showed. They were able to break it down to my level of understanding. Try getting an insurance company to cover a major catastrophe on your house, when contractors circumvented code whether intentionally or inadvertently. When I researched the quality and ratings of the roofers/electricians the "other" solar companies worked with, I wasn't impressed. Ratings and my perception of them was that they were "C" performers at best. Some of the other companies didn't seem to have a good idea of when exactly they could work on my roof, and needed me to be flexible within several weeks, so that they could find a roofer to contract with. They had no sense of project management. When installing solar panels, and working with utility companies for rebates, you have to have installation done by certain dates. You don't always have the flexibility you want/need. Why do you want a roofer as your solar installer? Well, that's easy to answer. The solar panels have to be anchored to the roof, underneath the tile/shingles, etc. The anchoring needs to be done it a very specific way to ensure they can handle the wind speeds we get here. The anchors need to be sealed in a very certain way to ensure they keep out water. Hire the wrong person, and you will get weak anchoring, leaks, mold, etc. when it rains/snows. If you don't notice the (sometimes invisible) problem until after it has done some major damage, potentially over several years, you are in trouble. If you can't pinpoint the damage to an event/storm, and in many cases within a few months/year of the event, you may not be covered by home owners insurance. Just ask me, I found out the hard way about water leaks in my attic (a year prior to solar installation). I ended up spending over $10,000 of my own money to mitigate my attic from the significant mold that had built up and spread. During my research, I talked with Deb at Colorado Springs Utilities-solar rebate section. She was the most informative and professional person I had engaged, beside the folks at Triton. Although a relatively new field/rebate, she was able to give me very detailed information and when pressed, a verbal list of companies that had worked with her customers for solar install and rebates. At the time, Triton wasn't on the list. Wh4y you ask... What I learned was that they were a newer company. That is the only reason. Triton didn't try to learn about solar on the fly. They took the time to learn it right, and hook up with GAF roofing/solar (see GAF.com for more info). Triton took the time to find the US leader for quality products/warranties/training/certification with regard to roofing/solar products. Triton has top notch safety awareness on the job both for themselves and others around them (i.e. my family, neighbors, kids). They did an excellent job with clean-up during the day and at the end of the day. They were very careful working around our landscaping. When Triton left each day, you couldn't even tell they were on my property. What I learned: - Triton was, and still is, the best choice for roofing and solar panel installation in the Colorado Springs and surrounding area. - Home owners insurance (with our carrier and many others) had no extra fees to cover the costs of solar panels on roofs. It was included in the plan we already had. - There are very few solar panel product companies (Triton uses Trina - one of the top 3 I found during research) that have excellent and lasting products with the longest and most responsive warranties. Trina was my #1 after all of my research. Triton helped me understand that fact and provided much of the information I needed to finish my own impartial research on top quality solar products (panels and micro inverters/transformers, etc.). - Triton was the only company at the time, that was GAF master elite certified. A very hard certification to achieve and keep! Just talk with a few roofers in the area and you will see for yourself. - Trina was the only leading company using micro inverters. Micro inverters were relatively new on the market, and others were using other types of inverters/transformers. Micro inverters are the very small boxes that attach under each individual solar panel, and transform the solar energy into electric energy. Other types or inverters or transformers are attached to the house inside or outside, and are huge. Other types of inverters/transformers hum and can distract and keep you awake at night. How do I know... I have several friends that have different solar panels on their houses, and the research I did, often had reviews that mentioned the humming and vibration noises. Micro inverters also maximize the energy captured because they change it into usable electricity right at the panel. Think of hot water moving from the basement water heater up a story or two in a house. It loses it's temperature the longer it travels through pipes. The same concept applies to where the inverters/transformers are located. Many were in large boxes that were on ground level in the garage or outside the house by the electric meter. The farther they are, the more energy you lose. With micro inverters, you don't need the large transformer box like things on ground level near the electric panel or meter. Micro inverters are the most cost effective and are also big space savers. - Triton was the only company, that through GAF were able to use engineers that worked specifically with roofs, solar panels/products. The engineers were another quality control /building/fire code check along the way to installing solar panels. There were no extra fees for working with the engineers. They are build into the process! - Triton even helped me think about future solar install needs and designed our system with future installs in mind. This will allow us to add extra panels without extra electrical work. After over 18 months now, I can still say that I am so glad I chose Triton for my roofing/solar install needs. We are realizing a faster payback on our solar investment than initially predicted through the Triton estimates of energy savings. I have a hot tub and a house full of teens who use more electricity than I'd care to admit. The best part, when the teens move out, I will be making more energy than I use and will be able to sell it to the utility company. My electricity bill will be 0. The utility company will owe money!

I chose Triton Roofing and Solar from a co-workers recommendation and they support Vets. We started off getting a new roof due to hail damage. But since they also are in the solar business, we requested a presentation and decided to use them to install solar panels as well. Since they are a roofing company first, they put on the new roof but also prepped the roof in such a way to ensure solar panel installation was ready to go. Then the solar panels were installed. What a great experience. Their entire team did a great job for both projects. Triton took care of the paperwork for the Colorado Springs Utilities rebate for solar panels and I couldn't be more pleased. Every person I met, was professional, warm and they truly want to do a great job for their customers. I absolutely would use them again. I got to know the owners, Todd and Justin, as well as their team, Blake and Corrie, very well throughout this process and they are genuine people. This is a small local business to support!!

Triton displayed very high expertise and integrity. Triton was recommended by my painter, based on some prior excellent jobs they did. Just as in a prior review here, Triton told me that I did not need all the costly repairs that an inspector from another firm quoted as being necessary. When I offered to pay an inspection fee the Triton inspector, who is an owner of this company, said that his firm does not charge for such roof inspections. I still have not decided what to do. However, we will use Triton Roofing for whatever we want done to our roof, from now on.

The removal and installation went well. The installers were challenged by a number of showers and thunderstorms but they took cover in their vehicle and resumed work when the weather cleared. The final product appears to be excellent; I'll know better after several thunderstorms. They were very good at cleaning up after each day's work. The leadership of Triton was responsive and helpful. They provided options which I appreciated. The final estimate was competitive with my other estimate but I considered Triton to be a wise choice due to the professionalism and helpfulness of the salesman. I would not hesitate to give them my highest recommendation.

The team at Triton Roofing are very knowledgeable and professional. We had some issues with a previous installer and Triton Roofing were able to point us in the right direction in resolving the issue. Even-though they didn't feel comfortable getting involved personally we still appreciated their time and opinion. Their estimate for work needed was competitively price to match their competitors.

It was excellent. It was a really nice roof. It wound up saving me some money on my insurance. It was a big expense out of pocket up front but in the long run, it will be worth it. They were good people and I trusted them. They did an excellent job explaining the products. They were fast. They were on time and on schedule. The budget was a little heavy but worth it in the long run. It was a little high but worth it. I will use them again.

Justin and his crew were very professional and showed up when they stated they would. The work was completed quickly and finished on time. They completely cleaned up the area after themselves to include spending additional time and effort to ensure that all nails were picked up so that our cars and horses would not end up with nails. We have not found a single nail around either our home or barn since having our roof replaced. We highly recommend Justin and Triton Roofing to our friends and family.

Triton Roofing is a very competent outfit to work with. Their estimator is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We had our gutters covered before getting a new roof. This was a big mistake as other roofing companies wanted no part of dealing with the covers. Triton was very willing to work with us and even called our gutter subcontractor to work out a process to get the covers put back in place after the roof installation. We were also concerned it was too cold to install asphalt shingles. Trident assured us they would perform the work in accordance with manufacturer instructions. This they timed to perfection, calling a few days before the warm weather returned to give us safety and home preparation instructions. The roof went on and it looks great. One of the metal guards on the chimney went missing. When we called Triton about it on a Saturday morning, senior members of the company were at our home within thirty minutes. They inspected the roof and job site for cleanliness and arranged for the replacement part. The final bill did not exceed the estimate. We are completely happy with Triton's efforts and can heartily recommend them to anyone needing a new cover for their home.

Unresponsive, made excuses for not showing up, took our deposit and still did not show up to do the work. We now have our deposit refunded.

I recently hired Triton roofing to put a new roof on my house which had two layers and was more than a minor undertaking. After interviewing 7 or 8 different companies Triton had the best presentation by far. They didn't want to sell you a new roof and get your job like the other roofing companies they wanted to educate you so that you as a homeowner could make an informed decision. I had already done the basic research on roofs and what I needed but Todd the owner brought my education to a whole new level. He and I decided on the best roof for my house together. He had a presentation of how the roof goes on and the different materials. It was amazing. The other companies had nothing like it. It was service with a smile and one h*** of a presentation. I will admit he was not the cheapest and was actually one of the more expensive bids I got but when he talked about the 25 year warranty on the workmanship and 50 year warranty on manufacturing defects that is backed by GAF the manufacturer that sold me. Even if Triton goes out of business or leaves town GAF will still honor the warranty. I can't beat that. When the crew arrived on the scheduled date and right on time they went right to work. They were fast and efficient in their work and even cleaned up as they went. I was worried that I couldn't let my dogs out the back yard because of the debris but they made sure it was all clean when they left the first night. They worked until 7 or 8 pm that night. They came back the next day and same as day one. Right to work and got my roof and barn done in two days. They cleaned up every little scrap and even raked up stuff they didn't have to which was nice. My expectations were that I would be spending days picking up crap they left behind but NO they left it better than when they arrived. The crew was amazing and so nice. I have never seen people work so hard. The next day Todd came by to inspect the roof and make sure I was satisfied. He went over the warranty information again and said I will receive inspections from the building department and from GAF to make sure everything was done right. I will admit I had a bad predisposition of roofing companies and had some expectations of how things would go and was willing to deal with it. All I can say is I was so wrong. Todd and Triton roofing is the best company I have ever had to deal with. If you need any roofing work done or solar panel they do that too but I didn't get that then call Triton roofing. They truly are the best out there.

Neekoh came out to discuss the project and performed a thorough inspection. He answered all of our questions and went over all of the details. I interviewed several other companies and no one else was as thorough as Neekoh. The team arrived on time to begin removing the old shingles. The entire project went quickly and smoothly and my property was cleaned at the end of each day. At one point the job supervisor saw me looking through the empty bags of shingles. I told him I was looking for bar codes for a rebate. He helped me look and checked with me the next day to ensure I had found what I needed. I did not expect this level of concern as it did not really pertain to his job. I was impressed with his concern and follow up. Neekoh walked us through the final inspection and thoroughly answered all of our final questions. I would recommend Triton and Neekoh to anyone planning a roofing project.

Triton was very profesional. I never intended to put a class 4 impact resistant shingle on my rental, but after speeking with justin it made sense to spend the extra money. Triton really took the time to educate me on the products they would install, and help me understand that they were going to put on a roofing system not just "swap shingles". The product they used even saves me $200 per year on the homeowners insurance.
