Tommy was punctual and very courteous. He performed several tests and determined the problem. He explained to me how the two worked and what the readings meant. Tommy replaced both parts and house is warm again. Top notch has been recommended by another company because they are very familiar with modulars. Also, gave me a quote ( reasonable) for an electronic furnace in case I decide to get away from pilot furnaces

We called several prominate companies in town, only to be turned down flat when they learned we were in a mobile home. (!?)

A neighbor recommended we call Top Notch. As you might guess, with all gas turned off, we were very eager to get someone out right away.
In spite of my calling mid-morning, my rather desperate cry for help was answered within an hour. There was a nice young man that came to do the work. He was careful, professional, and did not rush through the job.
We were able to have hot water again and our furnace is running great. We are very pleased and will definitely use them again, in the event that we need work in the future. We recommend this company.

They were recommended to me by a friend because the last service provider that I had did not call me back. Their price is adequate with the service that they provide and I will use them again in the future.

Because of the time of the year this has gone on longer than a month. He had prior commitments during spring break, and wasn't able to work on the furnace. He will back out tomorrow. The pricing was very reasonable. Right now, both of us are kind of frustrated about the problem, because it's taking so long to be resolved. He is getting help from the factory lab technicians. He has replaced the parts they say are causing the problem, but the problem still exists. He has replaced the thermostat twice. He thinks the problem exists in the original wiring in the house. He thinks that a wire was nicked when the original furnace was installed. What he installed was a combination heat and A/C, and that may have interrupted the wiring. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this job. I have to wait until the problems are worked out. The service has been just excellent, except for the simple fact that he and his worker are smokers, and when they come in, they just reek of smoke. I am an ex-smoker, and just quit a couple of years ago. Let me tell you, that smell is terrible! So far, I will probably use him again. I have to wait until I see what the final out come is.
