Tick Tock Shop

Went in store, nice store and wanted an estimate on getting a pocket watch repaired. Quoted me a price just to open it up and look, said it possibly needed to be serviced and cleaned. Left the watch to be looked at came back next week. Thought the price was high so I went on internet to look at other shops. Found one cheaper and does good work. The Tick Tock is a great place and professional work is done but prices was too high. The have a great selection of all sorts of clocks, but I an't rich. Anyone reading this go there first and make your own decision. But there are other watch/clock makers out there. You decide.

Great, the change of batteries was an easy painless task and took them no time at all. Unforntunatley my husband's watch that needed the most attention was not something they could help us out with. This was due to the watch being of higher quality (Rolex) and all repairs/servicing must be sent to Rolex. With that being said, they spent approximatley 15 minutes in helping me write to Rolex so that they would understand the issue. - They always acknowledge all of their customers when we first walk in the door, they are extremely polite, very knowledgable and will go far above their means to make us all want to return!!!

Friendly service and reasonable cost. Time took twice as long as quoted - 6 weeks vs. 3 weeks.

First clock service took a while (4 weeks?). I acknowledge they are a busy shop and it takes a while of run time to fine adjust the movement of these old machines and check the accuracy of the setting but I felt the work might have been completed quicker. Cost a bit high for what was done. Second clock was taken in a couple of months after the first clock was completed. Time frame for repair was about the same (4 weeks?) Cost was surprising, about a quarter the cost of the first clock's tune-up. Pricing seemed topsy-turvy. All staff I have dealt with are knowledgeable, professional and courteous.

I've always been pleased with the Tick Tock Shop - excellent work on wind-up watches, repair, and an excellent price on the new desk clock bought as a gift. I would highly recommend the Tick Tock Shop!

Left the watch to be repaired and new battery and asked to be called if charge would be over $100. They called to tell us it was ready. When I got there, they told me the charge would be $100. The watch stopped working about 3 months later. Have not returned.
