The Wright Repair

Perfect. There was only a little room left of the strap due to fraying, but she managed to get the buckle in and sew it down. Looks good and I think the repair will hold!  And can't beat the price---$20+. Took awhile, but I was not in a hurry. Workmanship looks great. Evelyn is very personable--I would use Wright Repair again!

Ms. Wright is a genius when it comes to repairs on luggage and purses--especially zippers. I haven't needed her services in a number of years, but when I do, she is my 'go-to' person. She is friendly, will let you know if your item is repairable, and because she stays so busy you may have to wait awhile, but it is SO worth it! If it's an item that was costly and you love it, it pays to repair rather than replace. I'm sorry I can't provide more details (like cost of service) as it has been a long time (even the date is a guess), but I do know that I was impressed enough to keep Evelyn in my and quot;mental rolodexand quot; for all time.

Work took over a month with little feedback. Price seemed overly expensive. But, the only luggage repair in the city. Work was of high quality and has to date been highly satisfactory. Work was performed in the firm's shop.

Took my suitcase in for a new wheel and a zipper tab. She told me that it might take awhile to get the wheel from Samsonite. I wasn't in a hurry. She called me about a month later and told me it was done. I picked it up. She did a great job and I am happy to have my good suitcase working again. I would use this company again. Very happy.

For the past 12 years I've used The Wright Repair on numerous occasions. I've always been very satisfied.

We have always been happy with the repairs that have been done.. A friend visiting from out of state also took a luggage piece in for repair and was pleased.

I have had Evelyn, with Wright Luggage Repair, repair two different pieces of luggage for me during 2012. In both cases, she gave me an estimate and a date to pick it up. In both cases, the repair price either matched or was under the estimate cost. In both cases, the luggage was repaired within the designated time frame. I felt the repair work was excellent. She is very courteous and knowledgable. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.

I don't have an extra bag, so the repair needed to happen during a week when I didn't travel. Not only did they repair the luggage in time, the part was superior to the original handle. I've used Wright Repair in the past to replace wheels on the same piece of luggage and received the same service (better parts than original parts, quick service and a reasonable cost).

After 10 years, my well-traveled Perlina purse became frayed and torn on the bottom. It was frayed so badly that the white plastic piping on the seams was poking through. Perlina is an expensive brand, and the rest of the purse was still in top-notch condition, so it made no sense to trash the purse. Evelyn did a superb job of matching the black leather and patching the seams. In fact, her repair was so skillful that, in my opinion, the repair appears to be part of the original bag design. This is the 3rd time I've used Wright Repair over the past 10 years. Her previous services included replacing a zipper on a Samsonite garment back, and repairing the torn cloth on a rolling brief case. I marked N/A for Responsiveness and Punctuality because I was willing to wait as long as necessary to have the jobs done right. Evelyn takes well-deserved pride in her work. Her shop can be a little hard to find. It's an old house that sits back from the road. She does have a large sign in front, but it's easy to drive by it. No big deal; just circle back.
