THE CLEANING AUTHORITY

Scheduled them for a deep cleaning and nothing was done! It was an empty house and all they had to do was make sure it was ready for my tenants. The refrigerator was not even touched Do what’s best for you and avoid this company! They couldn’t even get basic cleaning done right. The operator manager is rude! She basically called me on Monday, the day after Christmas to tell me the redo can’t be done because I didn’t notify her in 24hrs. She lied in her emails that she offered a redo twice. Her staff wasted 4 hrs of my time and did nothing! I ended up hiring a different company for the deep cleaning so my tenants could move in. Avoid this company. They don’t refund your money for a wack job! She offered me only $50 after taking $306 from me for nothing. If you make a mistake of using them, you will loose your money! Guarantee!

Scheduled a deep cleaning. Furniture was not dusted. Cabinets were sticky from move in. Debris was on stove. Walk in closets were not vacuumed. Hard wood floor was not wet mopped. Back doors still had dog nose prints all over them. When I complained I had to go back and forth for a discount and then the owner said that this company wasn’t a good fit for me. No sh*t....

I think two people come to clean while I'm at work. I think they are there for a few hours. We have an established rotating service. I can add something, like an extra bathroom, with no problem.

I have been using The Cleaning Authority for over eight years.  Overall, I am happy with their work, although it varies depending on the crew that is sent to your house any particular visit.  The arrival time varies widely.  I have had crews arrive as early as 8:30am and as late as 4:30pm.  The new owners seem much more professional than the previous one.

They're wonderful. I will continue to use their services in the future.

They show up, the same lady comes so I don't have to tell them what to do, have great quality, have used them 9+- years, but, they are not doing what they are supposed to do.  I am thinking about switching, but, basically can do what they do, and may do it myself.  They get high ratings, but they don't always come at a specific time.  I will not use them again. 

We often had the same ladies which was nice but they were not very conscientious they skipped things often. Cleanings lasted an hour for 2 people and several times things were missed. Examples: underneath toilet seat mot cleaned, top of dresser not dusted, bottom rails of chairs not dusted on the designated day.

Before we hired them we discussed various things including who would be coming to our house to clean. The owner indicated that they try to have the same one or two people clean your home. Well that hasn't happened. It is a different crew of 2-3 people each time. The initial 'deep' cleaning was pretty good, but ever since then the cleaning is less satisfactory with each visit. We have been home a few times when they came to clean and were not impressed by the cleaners lack of professionalism and shoddy equipment. They brought their own vacuum, which had to be at least 15 years old. No wonder I see crumbs on the kitchen floor after they have cleaned! Also, we have noticed spots on our carpet after some of their visits. So far I have been able to get them all out, but it appears that they are not careful with making sure they don't spill/drip cleaning fluids on the carpet. I have also been noticing nicks and dents on some of our furniture and door jams. It appears they are banging the vacuum against these and leaving marks. The worst offense happened on the last visit, one of the cleaners brought their child along and into our home while they cleaned!!!!!! That is the last straw and we are now looking for a new cleaning service.

Mr. Keegan owns the franchise that services the Monument area. The first time they came to clean was satisfactory (not great). The crew was not very professional, complained about having to clean some cobwebs off of some high items, and one asked me for batteries for her Walkman. I know this sounds trivial...but the story goes on. I had to cancel the next appointment, which I called Mr. Keegan a week in advance and left the cancellation message on his voicemail. HE did not call back until the housekeepers had shown up anyway (and couldn't get in) and read me the riot act. For reasons I can't explain - I gave this company one last chance. The crew came and "cleaned." Entire rooms of furniture were not dusted, most of the carpet was not vacuumed. I called Mr. Keegan at least five times over the following several weeks to get him to honor The Cleaning Authority's guarantee. I have never heard from him again; except that I know he cashed my checks. UNPROFESSIONAL AND A RIP-OFF.
