Danny from Stone Ridge Construction was by far the most professional contractor/builder we have used while repairing our home. Wish we found Stone Ridge construction first before all the others. He provided a quote and contract and then walked us through any portions we did not understand. He is very friendly and helpful. He came up with a plan, followed the plan and kept us informed along the way. His team did excellent work with minimum disruption to our house and lives. (We needed a 30+ lambeam secured to the ceiling that was unsupported and drooping). He worked with the Engineering Firm we hired to find a solution. Danny coordinated everything, from permit, Port-a-John, insulation removal and reinstall. The team padded the living room floor while working inside and cleaned up their work areas each day. Interior renovation is not easy. Stone Ridge took a lot of the stress from the situation through their professionalism on the job and with communication. Buyer Beware Four years after the job is completed stone is falling off of the fireplace and is creating a danger to my family. Ceilings are 10 feet tall and stone is falling from approximately 9 Feet. I have notified them about the defect and their reply is that it is out of warranty.

We contacted Danny and discussed what we wanted to do. He invited us to his office and came out to the house. He provided plans for what we wanted done. Everything was done in a very professional and timely manner. When the work actually started, they were very attentive to the details. If an issue arose they took care of it immediately. We made a couple of changes to the plan after we got started and they accommodated those changes and kept the entire project on schedule. We had an issue with a piece of hardware several months after the project was complete, and they came right out and resolved the problem. Russ and Danny were always professional and personable. The work was great. I would certainly use them again for any construction or remodeling.

The Kitchen remodel in our 1979 ranch style home involved removing two walls, none structural, but Danny and Russ helped us through the process of a structural inspection. The kitchen would open up to our family room, foyer, and dining room, and so we understood the importance of finding the right guys for the job. In addition to the kitchen remodel, we extended new hardwood flooring from the kitchen into the foyer, dining room, and master bedroom. Rather than bore you will all the details, I'll simply say that Danny and Russ are true professionals. If you're looking for contractors who understand the importance of the relationship, communication, and attention to detail, look no further. There are always a few unexpected bumps along the way with remodeling projects, but these guys are always focused and customer/solution-oriented. They clearly care about this community and partnerships with their subs and customers. We all have to make a living, but they seemed to truly care about putting forth an effort that would result in a product we could all be proud of. Our hats go off to you guys, and we look forward to working with you again on the next project. Thanks for our new open concept home!
