 + -1 moreI was in a tight spot when I contacted Jacek at Staircraft. I was so lucky to find him. He gave me a very reasonable bid on my stairs and rails. But he did so much more; he helped me find other high-quality workmen for other jobs as well. He helped me walk my project through Regional Building (I did not have a General Contractor). He supported me when I got scared and thought I'd never get this project done (I was in over my head). I experienced him as highly ethical and caring. I must say he went way above and beyond in every way. Of all of the people I worked with on my home remodel, he is the one I most appreciate. It is an honort o give him this referral. If you get him to help you, you will be a very lucky person.
Description of Work: My house is over 100 years old. Two sets of stairs were installed (to basement and to upstairs). The stairs up were partially installed (and not exactly correct). So Staircraft (Jack Osuch) had to come in and work with what was already installed, get creative, and make it work. I was very afraid of Regional; ie. it's an old house and I was afraid the stairs would not meet code. He helped me with drawings and actually walked my plans through regional with me (not just for the stairs; but for all the drawings). He also installed railings up and down. The workamn he had helping him (David Tisdale) was also excellent. The stairs are beautiful; but know that this was a small job for Staircraft. You must see his Gallery of work to really know what a craftsman he is.
