Owner/Contractor was a gentlemen, knowledgeable, efficient, very informative throughout entire process, professional. All his sub-contractors worked together well, worked well with us, were again - informative throughout process, were patient in answering all our questions since project was all new to us. Springs Home Improvement (SHI) offers poor workmanship. Unless you are willing to settle for this, you have to demand a lot of rework. In our case, all the tile work, pocket door installations, plumbing, electircal, etc., had to be re-done. There were long periods of time when no one showed up to work and there was no communication. When someone did show up to work they would invariably get a phone call from the office and have to leave. They charge for travel time, so all the interruptions add up, not to mention the time they are on the phone. The owner refused to provide line item detail of the hours and materials that he billed us for. Some of their subcontractors were lacking in skill and were difficult to talk to. Bill's Plumbing was unable to install sink pop-up drains that work properly. Mike of Bill's Plumbing took away all 4 of the pop-up drains that I bought (on recommendation of the sink manufacturer) and installed some that he bought, but they leak. He will not return our calls or messages so will not fix the leaking drains or return the expensive drains I bought. The electrician did not assemble the LED fixtures before installiing and got the wiring messed up so they flickered and leaked insulation all over the floor.. He was either talking (and yelling) to himself or on the phone most of the time he was here. We had to hire a competent electrician to re-do most of this work. One of the Springs Home Improvement crew bought the wrong paint and had a large hallway painted with it even though the correct paint was stated by us verbally and in writing.. The floor tile, shower pan and shower tile was installed poorly by Euro Style and had to be completely removed and redone by another sub. He did a better job but left without sealing the shower tile floor. Another Springs Home Improvement worker did the sealing, but must not have read the directions because it is all white and cloudy looking. We were sent to Planet Granite to select counter top. Planet Granite did not template the sinks correctly, so they didn't fit when they tried to install. Since they had already grouted the counter, they ground down the stone in place, creating a huge mess of rock dust that settled throughout the house. They vacuumed a little but they weren't very thorough. Over 8 months of off and on work and they were unwilling to complete the project and correct mistakes and threatened legal action if we didn't pay a final invoice. The owner claimed we had a final walk-through, but that event never happened. We have had to hire other contractors to complete the work and fix their final mistakes. They'll claim to want to make things right but don't follow through and then find creative ways of blaming the homeowner.

Remodeling work can involve issues that require patience and persistence to overcome and we embrace this dynamic. It is a privilege to be welcomed into any and every household to perform work and we strive to exceed expectations on every project. The review names every contractor we work with on a weekly basis. We know all parties on this project did respond and attempt to address concerns. These vendors and contractors have served us and our clients with excellent reliable service over the years and we still use them all. We also heard negative feedback from the clients about other contractors they hired independent of us during this project, indicating the challenge to meet their expectations was abnormally high. Delays on this project do not rest solely on us, the clients product selections and issues with quality, shipping, availability etc. also played a big role. In regard to quality, the project did come out very nice. We did involve outside parties to review the work, and the onsite review report from the supplier and tile manufacturer representative showed that the tile and sealant installations met or exceeded their requirements. We have applied lessons learned from this client as we move forward. It is obvious by the review these folks' expectations were not met for which we are disappointed, that being said, it was not for lack of effort. Sincerely, Chuck Farrington"

All went well, was a lot of work required . Sink was moved from north wall to a west wall and washer & dryer moved to different area and refrigerator relocated. Is wonderful! Chuck and his crew were very easy to work with.

Excellent work. Beautiful match of tile I had. Beautiful tile work. Had to build up the floor on my slab a little bit and the work is superior. These guys are professional and perfectionist. They are friendly and take time to explain what I wanted to know. They gave me choices and asked for my input. They cleaned up after the job. Arrived on time. Finished the project in the promised time frame. Worked with me to get the fixtures and door I wanted. I love the spa-like shower I now have. I highly recommend Springs Home Improvement Company without any reservations!!

Chuck and Aaron are extremely responsive and deal well with inevitable changes, etc. They represented the company very professionally. My only "complaint" would be that it was difficult to track as things developed how much it was costing at any given time. It was much more expensive than initially expected (as always, I am told!.... but I think it need not be that way, with clearer communication)... most all of that due to upgrades and changes freely chosen on our part. Only that we often felt "in the dark" as to how much it was costing as it went... Doing it again I would keep track of budget and cost more thoroughly.... even if it meant I would have made the same exact decisions.

Fantastic from start to finish. Original walls were a light blue, floor was a blue and white sheet vinyl, holes in walls from various put ups throughout the years, brown heat register in ceiling, white ceiling, no medicine cabinet, cover on toilet tank was too big, chipped sink, shower head was off center and another issues was revealed and taken care of when the shower insert was removed. Chuck is very knowledgeable on coordinating colors and there was no stress in this area for me. All areas were prepped. The floor and shower area was replaced with beautiful matching tile, the walls were prepped and painted, all fixtures were upgraded. The outside balusters were replaced and the opening looks great. All of the workers were friendly, meticulous and professional with every aspect of this project and I couldn't be any more pleased with the final outcome. Pictures to be added soon.

Rich was on time, gave it some hard thought & started working. Needed to get scaffolding to reach the 16ft ceiling. Repaired hole in ceiling from old electric box & matched ceiling textured beautifully. Hung new dining room light above table. Amazing! Replaced foyer light with a gamble recess light. Having those outdated builders quality lights gone has made a huge difference. Very very impressed with quality of work, friendliness & professionalism of Rich. Glad I found a company that has the quality & affordability. Will use them again.

Rather than repairing broken door, installer insisted a new one was needed. Could not get it to hang right. Broke existing trim around door which he did not repair. Replacement door color did not match. Incurred additional expense and time repairing damage and correcting mistakes made by installer. Then had to repaint doors and trim. All this on my own time. Should have done the repair myself to begin with as I ended up doing 90% of the work. Will NOT use this company again.

The work went very smoothly. Chuck told us when the workers would arrive and that they would be here every day until the job was completed and that is exactly what happened. The workers were polite and left everything neat at the end of each day. Chuck checked in frequently and responded to any calls we made to him immediately. His office staff was wonderful and helpful as well. This is the second time we have used Springs Home Improvement and we have recommended them to many friends.
