Southern Colorado Springs Nissan provided excellent service on both of our Nissan vehicles. Very professional, time-sensitive, and cost-conscious.

I have purchased 5 new cars in my life and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Every aspect of the car buying experience was unsatisfactory. We purchased a black car with black leather interior. The sales person informaed us it was in the Denver location and had to be shipped down from Denver. Because of this we had to wait a couple of days. As a loaner vehicle they gave us a fully loaded car of the same type we bought to make up for the fact it was going to take a couple of days. They did not have to do this but it was a nice gesture on their part. A couple of days later we were called to come in a get our new car. When we arrived the sales person pulled the car around and it was the wrong car. It was black with tan colored interior. My wife's last car had tan interior and she did not like how dirty it got. They did not tell us on the phone before we got to the dealership. When the sales person got out of the car the sales manager joined us outside. Both the salesman and the slaes manager looked at my wife and I and shrugged there shoulders not saying anything. From their silence and expressions, It seemed to me and my wife that they wanted us to and quot;settleand quot; for a vehicle we did not buy. I told them we did not want the car and they began to say they were sorry and the Denver dealership must have made a mistake. Later I found out from the sales person that it was the sales manager that made a mistake on the transfer form. This mistake was compounded by the way they sat there staring at us instead of immediately apologizing and trying to rectify the situation. They ordered the right vehicle and said it woulld be there the next day. So I went to the parts department to by the all weather floor mats for my wife's and quot;theorheticaland quot; car. The guy sold me the floor mats and they were sealed in plastic. Since we did not have our car yet I did not open them in the store but I brought them home, because how hard is it to identify floor mats? Very hard if you work at S. Colorado Springs Nissan because when I opened them at home they were for the wrong car. The next day we went to pick up our new car. It was parked out front so before we walked in I meticulously inspected the car to ensure it was in perfect condition and the interior was in fact black. The interior was correct but there were several deep stratches on the back right quarter panel. Needless to say I was displeased. So when I walked in to talk to our sales rep I told him about the stratches. He replied that I had beaten him to the puch and he was just about to telll me about them. I did not believe him but said nothing. He then apologized and said they had a paint guy who could fix it. I would have walked away at this point because if I spend 32,000 on a new car I want it to be pristine, but I had already purchased the vehicle (this was my fault, i should have never purchased a car without seeing it first. Live and learn.). TO make it up to us the sales man said he would try and get us free ooil changes, but once we left and were out of his hair he did not follow through with the gesture. I got the paint repaired with their guy which was a great inconvenience to me on two days and when I got the car back the scratches were gone. Fast forward 6 weeks I noticde in the exact spot were the scratches were repaired the plastic on the quarter panel had cracked and the seam of the quarter panel had pooped and quot;outand quot;. Since my wife and I had not been in any accidents with our car we knew that no one had hit our car. Plus if someone had had hit our car in that spot to cause the damage there would have been a dent (there was none) and the fender would have been pushed and quot;inand quot; NOT and quot;outand quot;. Based on the damage and the location of the damage I maintain it must have been caused by a shotty repair job. My wife and I just returned from South Colorado Springs Nissan to show them the damage and the sales manager immediately told me that the damage was caused by another car striking it. When I asked him how there was no dent and the panel was popped out not in he said he didn't know but my car had been hit and they were not liable. He was being confrontational towards me and I was not happy with his tone. He then got the Owner of the dealership and he immediately told me my car had been hit by another car and they were not going to pay for it. The owner could not explain how the popped out panel could have been caused by a car hitting it but just said that is what had happened. He said serveral times that after his paint guy fixed the paint it was in satisfactory shape so he was not liable. I replied several times that I am not contesting that fact, but I was maintaining that the damage was caused by shotty worksmanship. He was very aggressive and confrontational from the get go. I said that I was a customer who has already had a poor experience with them and they have done nothing rectify any of their mistakes. The sales manager then through up his arms and huffed in exasperation at that comment. Considering my history with them I at a minumum expected to be treated with respect and dignity but all I got was accusations, aggression, and disrespect. They had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and the management and ownership of South Colorado Springs Nissan do not care about there customers. A few days ago my wife received a call from our salesman saying that he appreciated her filling out our onliine customer survey (we filled it out last week and we were very objective about the poor experience we had). He had a somber sad tone when he added that he was taken off the sales floor. My wife asked was it because of our survey and he replied that he was not at liberty to say. This annoyed me, because he was trying to make my wife feel bad, which she did. Also, during our buying experience, after every mistake they made the salesman asked us several times to please don't give him a bad survey because it was not his fault, which is not fair to us because although he seemed to be a decent guy we were very displeased with our experience. When I went in today because of the damage to my car, I saw that salesman still on the sales floor. So he lied to my wife to make her feel bad. Any one of these mistakes would have been forgivable because things happen and people make mistakes, however all of these mistakes together and the disrespectful way management and ownership deal with customers and mistakes is utterly unacceptable. In additiona to all of these other missteps it seemed everytime my wife and I were there (and we were there on many occassions) we were waiting an exceptionally long time. I would stronglly urge anyone interested in buying a Nissan to go to another dealership. I will never give them anymore of my business and I am going to take my wife's car to another delaership to get it serviced.

We have a maintenance plan so there was no cost for the oil change. The customer service has been fantastic, they always have been friendly and greeted you. In addition, they just keep you up to date on what services need to be done as well as time frames. They'll pick you up or drop you off at your home. They provide a great service. I've had no issues with them. They do great work.
