Services we offer
I have been in the construction business for 20 years and am now on my own, which for me means I can now be more flexible and creative with my work. I have no over head so my costs are low and my quotes are competitive. Remodels are my favorite, but I also love to make custom furniture. I am currently making reclaimed tables, doors, and cabinets. I am honest and hard working and if I can't do the bet job for you I will tell you up front so you are not wasting your time.
The efficiency, expertise, communication, and attention to detail was excellent throughout the entire process. Dan came out the day after my call to give me an exact quote on labor and materials. He put together a work schedule and stuck to it. He documented each day's work with pictures sent to my phone (which was really nice since I live in a different city!). He also was flexible to change my plan for the door, mid-stream, and find the most economical solution right away. Additionally, when I decided to change a casement window in the loft to a real window, he was able to troubleshoot the odd-sized window casement that was there and install an economical window, thus saving us the time and cost of a custom order window. The finishing work around the window was wonderful, and I appreciated the savings. All these changes were taken in stride with a great attitude. Additionally, the construction mess was kept to a bare minimum and clean up was amazing. I appreciated this, as I have had many contractors leave a mess after their work. Our cottage was ready for the tenant to move in when he promised, and in top-notch condition. It was a wonderful experience.
Description of Work: We had an open loft bedroom in a studio cottage remodeled into an enclosed, upper level bedroom. The bannisters were removed, walls built, window replaced, pocket door installed, closet doors removed, floor repaired, drywall, paint, and finishing.
