Seaback Roofing & Restoration - Colorado

Well i have to say ....Whitney Smith at Seaback Roofing and Restoration...saved my but.....i was hit by the big hail storm that destroyed cars and houses in july of 2016, no insurance on the house. I contacted several roofing companies who all came out ..looked at my roof ...poked holes bigger with their fingers (to show how big my holes were) tore up and broke shingles (to show how brittle my old T lock roof was)...then when they found out my budget, they never returned my calls...3 different roofing companies... i was so stressed i was not sleeping...and actually crying every time it rained..(and i am a big 225 lb. man who lifts refrigerators all day long.) I met Whitney through one of my customers that called me for a haul away and works with Whitney and she gave him my number, i never expected to hear from him.. why not everyone else blew me off...Whitney called me the next day got my address and called me back 3 hours later with a price i could afford ..and was well aware of my budget...we came to an agreement on price i could afford, with the understanding that if decking needed replaced as well that was a little extra and i would have to make payments for anything beyond what i had in my budget....and now 2 and a half weeks later i have a roof....there were minor hick ups as expected with any construction job..but if i called Whitney or texted i got a reply with an answer right away ... i am very pleased and already have other neighbors in a similar situation who want his contact info...thank you ,thank you , thank you to the team at Seaback Roofing and Restoration....and a special thank you to Whitney Smith...and I wish i got his last name but Hector ...the roofer who installed my roof all by himself . That man deserves a raise....he did my entire roof by himself from tear off to clean up... but all the employees at seaback are being stretched thin due to the recent hail and every roof in colorado springs being re roofed....i will definitely refer Seaback Roofing to everyone who asks

I had used Seaback previously to replace the roof in 2006. All went very smoothly at that time so I naturally called them again after a severe hail storm occurred here in July. We were also considering placing the house on the market very soon so time was of the essence. Our company representative, Richard, was a bit brusque in our initial meetings but assured us he could get the job done before our expected listing date. We signed on for the same color GAF shingle but impact resistant. He visited my office a few days later to let me know the IR GAF shingle was not available in that color. He said they had ordered a Tamko instead and the colors were pretty much identical. No sample, no consult. The shingles were ordered and they started installing. The colors were NOT identical. They really weren't close. Had we not been selling the house we would have protested more. The roofing crew did complete the job very quickly. One day for tear off and replacement. Almost too quick! A few plants were damaged or destroyed by dropped materials. However, getting the remainder of the project completed was a little like pulling teeth. I had to hold back funds until the gutter work was completed. It was a few days later I noticed one of the downspouts was a totally different color (white instead of tan) than the rest of the gutters. It took nearly two weeks to get that resolved during which time the house was being shown. I also had to fight in order to get a copy of my final invoice for my insurance (3 different amounts) and any kind of warranty paperwork. It was also found during the buyer's inspection that 5 of the shingles had been cut through by careless workers. Took almost two weeks to get them replaced. I think the roof will be fine but the general lack of communication and responsiveness by field personnel was maddening. The only true help I received was from a very overworked individual in the office. She was the only one interested in helping. The others did not seem to care once the checks were written.

This was the smoothest experience I have had with a general contractor, ever. Robert and Whitney were very attentive and took care of everything. There were a few hiccups, but they promptly addressed them all. Communication was very thorough throughout.

They were professional and explained the job in detail. The roof was replaced in a timely manor. Their crew did an excellent job and clean up. Very happy. Entire job was covered by insurance.

They did a really good job. I think the price was okay. It was actually covered by insurance; we had hail damage. The quality of their work was actually really good. Their punctuality was good. They showed up when they said and actually they were gone when I got home from work. They were done before the end of the day. Their responsiveness and professionalism was good. The owner was here and went over everything with me. I would definitely use them again in the future.
