I hired Shannon Soloman at SCS Roofing after extensive research into the quality and price of the work needed.  My Victorian house needed top quality shingles and preparation including the tearing off of four layers of old roofing, flashing around skylights and installation of new sunpipes.  Other estimates for this work were considerably higher than the price Shannon quoted me.  After offering me a choice of shingling materials in a range of colors and styles from samples he personally brought me, Shannon and his workers appeared promptly when they said they would and proceeded with the work in a cheerful and businesslike manner.  Their helpers were polite and efficient, contrary to some experiences I've had in the past.  Shannon and his staff were careful of my landscaping and pets and when they were done, they cleaned up so well, you'd never know they were even here.  The roof is gorgeous and of such high quality that my homeowners insurance premiums were cut by a third!  I would not hesitate to recommend Shannon and SCS INDUSTRIES to anyone needing roofing.  They are honest and thorough and they work efficiently and quickly.  They were finished and out of here within four days of beginning the job--despite the rain-- and the final contract price came very close to the original estimate.  Any changes to the contract were at my initiation (i.e. the addition of sunpipes) and all amendments to the original contract were mutually agreed upon and very reasonably priced.  I'm very happy with the work.
