SavATree - Colorado Springs

I came to know about them online originally years ago. I don’t know where they are, but I just call them out and they come and do stuff. They routinely spray the trees for bugs and stuff every year. They give me an estimate for the types of trees and it is usually in range of $60 and $90. They are very good.

I called 5 days after the estimate and authorized the job. After 9 days I got a call from a company rep letting me know that the work would be done 6 days later. The crew of two showed up about 8:30 AM on the appointed day and took care of the Maple and cut off the elm stump almost flush with the ground. When they finished the lead worker said another crew would be by in a couple days to do the stump grinding. 8 days later a one man crew showed up and did the elm grinding. All of the work was done to my satisfaction. All debris was hauled away and the site was left in excellent shape. Overall I'd rate the work as excellent. The stump grinding work far exceeded my expectations and description of what was possible given the closeness of the stump to the house foundation.

They do a lot of work with a lot of the neighbors down here. I think her name is Ms. Becky. She is good and very reasonable. I didn’t dislike anything about them; I liked them because they did the work really well, and I liked their chair staff.

They were absolutely super. They are wonderful people. I wouldn't use any other tree service because they are top notch.

They were very good. We switched from another company to them and they were better. There was a lady that came out and talked to my partner and we were very impressed with her professionalism. We thought that they did a very good with the trees. There was only one tree that we asked them to do and then they did our lilac bushes. They really explained the best way to do our lilac bushes like cutting out the deadwood and all that kind of stuff, and why it should be done the way they did it. They educated us on the type of pest that they were spraying for and that is why we are going with them again. One thing that we didn't like is that they didn't remove a birdfeeder from a tree or cover the birdbaths or lay them down when they did the spraying so that the spray didn't get into the water. Other than that, we were very impressed with them. We will be using them again and have just sent them a check for next year's service.

We've known the owners about 20 years. I hire them for all of our tree services. They've been in this business for certainly over 10 years. It's a large enough organization to be able to do work on a reliable schedule with experienced and good competent people. They're a quiet modern company. They have all the latest equipment but they also climb trees. They have all the right tools. They can do any size project. They don't grind stumps, but they do handle that service. Mountain High Tree Care and Consulting have very reasonable prices. They answer phone calls and have a good scheduling operation. The owners of Mountain High Tree Care and Consulting are both professional arborists. She can come out, look at your place, and tell you what you need. It's a well articulated and professional business in it for the long haul. They're first rate.

They come out every summer to take care of all my trees. They spray them and trim them. I have a number of trees and I pay $100 for it. They are pretty punctual and they never try to sell me something that I don’t need. They think if I need something they would explain it to me and then they would leave it to me to decide whether I want it or not. They wouldn’t say that you should have this done. They give me the pros and cons and let me make my own decision. There are no high pitch sales. I have never had a problem and he has always done good work. There are a lot less expensive than some of the companies I contacted. I am going to use them next spring and there is no doubt about that.

This tree was literally a couple inches from our newly-painted house. The crew from Mountain High was a tough-looking bunch, and totally ready for the task (which turned out to be tougher than the estimator imagined). They even left us a table-shaped stump to turn into a picnic table. I was blown away!

They could have not been nicer! They cleaned up so well and even sweeped up afterwards. They were able to tell me that Aspen trees do not grow well in my area which is why they were decaying.

I spent around $800 on that work. I have no complaints about them. They were very professional and were very educating. They cleaned up nicely and took care when they had a big maple tree in my driveway.

The crew arrived on time and had the tree down, chipped and the area cleaned up in 20 minutes. The crew was courteous, skilled, and professional. We will definitely use Mountain High in the future.

They are very good. They are excellent. They were knowledgeable. It turned out to be fine. They are professional. They know a lot about of trees. They always are very punctual. I don't think they are over-priced. They have good price for the things they do.

The work went very well, and they did a good job of the cleanup. The staff’s professionalism and friendliness were very good. I was very satisfied with the price; I had gotten two other estimates from other companies, and they were at least $200 more. I would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if necessary.

The lady came out and gave me an estimate. They trimmed the Maple tree and cleaned up all of their mess. They told me how to take care of my tree. they were professional, did a good job and cleaned up. I couldn't be more happy with the work. I already recommended them to my son.

They made the process easy. Gave an estimate and then the workers showed up and did exactly what the estimate said. Cleaned up work area well. Very fair pricing.

These guys were great. The phone estimate included some free advice. Since I wanted the tree to be actully pruned, to have some dead branches removed, I scheduled them to come to the house. They arrived on the date and time scheduled. Checked the tree, pruned the dead branches, and gave me some more advice on what to do for the tree. The price was reasonable, and I would use them again.

Mountain High removed dead shrubbery for a fair price. They arrived when they said they would, knew exactly what they were doing, had the right equipment, and were out of there shortly - no muss, no fuss.

This was the second time I've used Mountain High to remove trees from my property. They did an excellent job removing the tree, grinding the stump, and cleaning up after the job. At the same time I scheduled beetle spray for our large blue spruce. That too was done on time and with professionalism. I will use them again!

Al Wegner came out and gave us an estimate, after a couple of others. We hired this company because Mr. Wegner was very professional in evaluating the work to be done. Our original plan was just to prune things back to open our view of the mountains. However, Mr. Wegner pointed out some weaknesses in our trees and suggested we take them down. The overall effect of their work REALLY opened up our view and we can see the entire range of mountains, not just Pikes Peak. Two workers showed up to do the job, along with a Godzilla-type chipper. They worked for several hours taking down trees and feeding them into Godzilla, which scarfed up whole trees in a matter of seconds. One worker went up to do the pruning of the biggest tree. He was up there, suspended on ropes and swinging from branch to branch. He knew exactly what to cut and did a great job. The reason we had so many trees taken down was the fact that Russian elms grow many trees from the same root system and some grow weaker than others. Better to have one trunk and one strong tree than several growing from one root. After the cutting, the workers left the area clean. I rewarded them with chocolate chip cookies for their work. I was very pleased with this company and would hire them again. They also offer a 5% senior discount which lowered the price of their original estimate.

Excellent. Very prompt. Decided a tree needed to be removed and removed it on the spot. Diagnosed problem with Aspens & explained exactly what needed to be done. Cleaned up completely. Ground stump about a week and a half later. Again cleaned up.

I used their online free estimate request. They called two working days (a weekend was in between) after I had filed the request to let me know they would be in the area the next day and could do the estimate then. They asked to be sure that was soon enough for us. They left their estimate, of $485, with exact details on what they were going to do. We called them back a day later, since they were the most affordable of the estimates we had received (we asked from three other tree services in the area). They explained they were two weeks on on projects and only scheduled a week in advance but they would put us on the top of their list. A week later we received a call and they set a time to come out. My husband and I were both at work, but came home to a nicely trimmed tree, no left over clean-up in our yard, and a few days later a bill in the mail for $100 less than their estimate. Overall they were professional.

They did a very good job and the price was the best, They cleaned up after thenselves and friendly. I will use them from now on

Excellent. I needed consultation on caring for various trees and shrubs in our yard. They came out and consulted before doing the work and were very thoughtful and thorough. They did exactly what they promised. Scheduled in a reasonable time. Very easy to work with. Cleaned up trimmings completely.

Excellent service from the first call. Excellent clean-up even on the steep slope where they removed trees. Definately recommend them.
