"We do stand behind our work as well as educate our clients on how to properly care for their trees after installation, including how to monitor watering as not to over or under water the tree(s). The crew planted to industry standards. Both holes for each of the 2 trees planted, were heavy clay soils and full of moisture. Thus, the crew choose not to water as not suffocate the new root balls, since the trees are in an irrigated turf area. The mulch was added at a subsequent visit (different crew). We also explained at the initial visit that we do not install metal borders. We have reached out to the client and have stopped by several times to make things right and discuss his concerns with no response."
"Dear [Member Name Removed], Sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. What I had told you on the phone, was that I would check with Chris(who ground out the stumps) and then would come out to rectify the screen damage. Chris came out the following day, rang the door bell, had a discussion with you about the screen, then proceeded to correct the damage that we did not cause. The junipers were growing through the screen causing the damage, therefore we did not cause the damage by removing them or grinding the stumps. During our stump grinding, we clean the excess grindings then mound it, as it will settle over time. Sorry if you thought it was messy, it is the industry standard. Sincerely, Branch Manager, Mountain High Tree Care Al Wegner"
"Dear [Member Name Removed], I'm sorry for any inconvenience or misunderstanding. After we had spoke, I called Colorado Springs Utilities and discussed your situation. I told them what we had done and they were shocked that a sewer line was only 15" below grade and that your neighbors sewer line crossed on to your property. I then called you and left you a voice mail regarding this, and Waste Water's phone number. I'm assuming you never contacted them, because C/S Utilities would have taken care of it, if it was there sewer line. Being so shallow, they questioned the line not being to code and being the responsibility of the homeowner who installed it. I wish you would have followed up with me 7-8 months ago as I assumed you had spoken with C/S Utilities. Minimally, you or the neighbors Homeowners Insurance should have covered all of it, less your deductible. Again, I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Al Wegner Branch Manager-Mountain High Tree Care"
Asked to have vines and two aspens removed, the worked performed wasn't the work asked for. I have vines that are completely overtaking several 12 foot bushes. The estimator didn't want me at the house while he looked at the house which made me uneasy because I wanted clear communication. Somehow he completely missed the vines and quoted me for tree maintenance. When we talked about it further he agreed to look at the property again. Once he looked at it a second time he wanted to talk my ear off and argued with me. I lost my patience because I couldn't get him to listen to me and I told him to "do whatever he wants", which isn't what I wanted him to do. The worked performed looks great. They also smashed their vehicle into my steel mail box and steel post which they didn't mention, it's bent over and will need to be replaced. Just replaced that box and post two months ago as I'm preparing my house for sale. Based on the estimator and damaged property I wouldn't ever hire them again.
"I had followed up with [Member Name Removed] numerous times after his initial request and even went back out to verify what he wanted. He was trying to stage his house to sell, a unmaintained landscape at best. There where several dead aspen and several diseased aspen that needed to be removed and pruned, etc. Wades other concern was a clematis vine that was growing throughout his evergreens in the back originating from the cities right of way. I had informed him that it would be very costly to mitigate this vine and we typically never do this type of work and to contact the city. [Member Name Removed] was suppose to retract his comment regarding the mailbox back on October 28th, when I spoke with him regarding that we were not responsible for the damage to his mailbox (documented pictures showing the height the damage vs the height of our truck/chipper which was much lower). Sorry for any inconvenience-Management at Mountain High Tree Care"
