When we renewed for a year ($240) on 07/18/2014 we expected the garbage to be picked up. It wasn't. And once a while they would pick up the trash on the scheduled day without me having to call them every day that week to get them to come and pick it up. We had trash sitting on the curb for weeks because they promised it would be picked the next day and it was not. This went on for weeks and my wife told me we should switch but I kept giving them another chance but they failed each time. Finally on 9/11/14 I called and canceled and told them I wanted a full refund and was promised I would be given one. Here is where my great deal of frustration and anger come in.
I spent 3 months trying to get a refund. I called and each time they would promise to have a supervisor call me back. I even gave them 3 separate valid numbers to try.  I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THEM.   I emailed them through their site and direct email later. They have never responded. My wife had to show up in person at their office and threaten small claims court to get them to send us a check. She said they said "we don't do refunds? And when we finally got a check it was $155. $85 short! If anything it should be $40 short for 2 months but we were promised credit for each of the missed weeks. They didn't even give us a partial refund. They took money to provide a service and when they failed at that service they refused to return it. It small enough to make small claims court not worth it but I'm still tempted. 
My words here fail to explain my frustration and I could write a book full of expletives on this ordeal but if you take away anything from this review take this:
Rocky Mountain Disposal are thieves and lairs! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! 
DO NOT HIRE THEM. 
If you have them wait until your contract runs out and go with someone else ANYONE! If you switch early kiss your money good bye.

I am very happy with Rocky Mtn Disposal. They provide reliable and consistent service at a great price. I especially appreciate their extra effort to get the garbage can should I forget to put it at curb. Additionally they always return it to the top of the driveway. Great job!

I have used them for 10 years and am very happy with them. The drivers
and collectors are always very nice and dressed in uniform type shirts.
A few times I have received offers to pay early and get a deal and
didnt, so watch out for that. Otherwise i'm VERY happy with this
company. Last time I heard they were run by 2 ex-policemen and it shows
with their attention to detail.

My experience with them for the last few years have been excellent. The last few months, the driver was not professional and was not following the company policy. When I used to call customer care, they wouldn't care. I would recommend to check around full reviews and definitely follow-up to make sure that they are doing everything good and they do what they are supposed to do.
