John is now on the road! With over 30 years experience, John Duran maintains and repairs RV’s and 4x4’s. While he specializes in these recreational vehicles, he also wants to be your mechanic of choice for your cars, trucks, boats, and SUV’s! John opened Rocky Mountain RV & 4x4 in 2015. He closed the shop in January 2018, and he is now operating as a mobile RV mechanic. He will travel to areas surrounding Colorado Springs. Please call (719) 380-7844 for an appointment.

The work was done professionally, quickly and at a reasonable cost. They are very knowledgeable on RV repair and, above all, they are honest - something that seems to be hard to find these days..

I store my camping trailer with them. Whenever I need repairs, I just call and they make the repairs. I've had doors fixed, electric and plumbing, body repairs, winterizing/dewinterizing, etc. The work is always done well at a reasonable price. Entry to storage available 24/7/365.

The costs were below what I had expected. It is very clear they were honest and looking out for us. Scott worked on the trailer and he was first rate. Jamille who coordinates everything was great as well. I would definitely recommend them.

After taking my new camper back to Campers World three times to fix my refrigerator that would not ignite when I switch from electric to gas, was so frustrated with their poor quality of workmanship and diagnostics and not giving a crap about any kind of customer service went to get a second opinion somewhere else. Campers World said because because I was camping in high altitude the igniter would not always work, and told me to get a can of air spray and blow out the igniter when it did not work. Well that did not fix my issue. So I took my camper to John Duran at Rocky Mountain RV & 4x4. I have used John before for winterizing my camper and have always been please with his work. Well after some extensive testing John determined it was the gas igniter had gone bad. After locating the part and installing it after it was shipped to him, had me back on the road to camp again in 5 days. He kept me informed the whole time of his progress and his hourly rate was really extremely reasonable. Highly recommend Rocky Mountain RV & 4 x 4 for any of your RV or camper repairs. That is why I gave him a 5 star rating.

We were having a trans over heating problem. We first went to Auto & Truck Service. We were quoted over $3,600 dollars to replace and clean the trans cooler and 2 new tires. We happened upon Rocky Mountain R.V. and the quoted under $1,500 to fix our problem. They kept to the quote and were fantastic people to work with.
