I was impressed with Chris P and his delineating the source of the problem.  He didn't provide an estimate on 10 pages with lots of padded, unneeded costs, as did another company.  He was willing to do the work, which yet another company was not (tied up with work from the Black Forest fire).
There was a month's delay, due to weather.  But when he said he'd be there to start, he was, and the work was completed within the approximate time he said it would be.
It was somewhat tricky, including a railing that spanned the back side of the 5 units.  Another company had planned to charge for removal and storage fees when all that  was needed was for the railing to be set on the deck surface and secured during the work.
Straightforward, business-like, professional, and delivered what they said would be done.

They are locally owned. I believe Chris can lay tile and the flooring. He was reasonable. He does really good work and he has a good crew. He works his back if he can and still does a good job. I would suggest him to friends. If I want some regardless of a big job or a small job, he can do it. He can do it regardless of the size. I have had good luck with him.

The work went very well. We already have plans to hire them again this year for other projects.  The craftsmen were courteous, polite, prompt, professional, friendly, and solicitous of our opinions & thoughts. They kept to their schedule and cleaned up after themselves.  It was an absolute pleasure to work with them.
