RC Home Improvements help me with my insurance claim. They gave me a free inspection, explained the process very clearly, answered all my questions and my concerns. Rafael found aditional damage and helped me to deal with the insurance company. At the beginning of my claim, the insurance estimated the damage a little over $6,000. With the aditional damage that Rafael found he increased my claim to close to $24,000. With that money I didn't have to be shopping around to find the cheapest roofing company, or cheapest painters. It was a weight lifted off my shoulders. They took care of everything for me. They did my roof, gutters, exterior and interior painting, windows, and sliding door. Finished the project fast, after all the insurance approved the supplements.

Everyone I interacted with at RC Painting was polite and professional. There were a few weather delays (obviously not their fault at all), but as soon as the conditions improved they got the house painted right on schedule. Everything looks great, and they did a good job of cleaning up every day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Overall, I am pleased with the work.  The price did escalate from the initial estimate which I had mixed feelings about.  The original quote I received was for one coat of paint (which was comparable to the other quotes I received).  However once they began they said the color I selected (a medium blue) would require two coats to cover since the original house color was white.  Since I had discussed my color choices up front (with all the bidders) I was a little perturbed that they wanted to renegotiate the price.  Also because I have a historic home and wanted some extra detailing done this was done on an hourly basis and I thought their hourly price (which I didn't get up front) was high.
I selected RC Painting based on their reviews and price and thought I was getting a really good deal.  After all the up-charges I think I still paid a fair price, just not a good, or excellent price (hence C, vs B on the rating system)

Rafael's company was very easy to deal with.  They always did what they said they would do.  RC's bid was less than many of the "big name" painters in town.  The bid was specific and detailed.  They had the requisite experience in dealing with lead-base paint on this 1895 house.  Always courteous to the mentally-handicapped residents, they were careful to keep people safely out of the way.
