Description of Work: The store owner is very customer service oriented. He sells very high quality second hand furniture. He has a very long standing staff that are good to work with. He has things that no other furniture stores in the area have. Nearly all of his inventory is one of a kind with a huge selection varying in price ranges.

Description of Work: Platte Furniture was ok. I called and talked to someone to see if they had some shelving I wanted and she quoted me a price and told me to come in and anyone would be able to help me. When I went in, someone else helped me, but they didn't know what shelves I had asked about and it took them a while to find it. Their scheduling and delivery was really great though! The guys were careful and courteous.

 + -1 moreNo problems. A lot of times, the older furniture is better constructed than the new stuff and you can find some great bargains there. Don't forget to haggle some (quietly and nicely) to get a discount. Make sure you check out the furniture before you buy it so you know what you are buying. A little sweat equity in cleaning up furniture is worth it.
Description of Work: Platte Furniture is a great place to find used furniture (some of it is heavily used, some barely touched... like in a display house for a few months). We have bought everything from desk and chairs, nightstands, TV armoire, bookshelves, and dressers from Platte Furniture.
