Pikes Peak Interiors

I have used Theresa at Pikes Peak Interiors for the replacement of blinds in our home several times. Each time everything has gone just wonderfully. She is professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Her installers are first rate as well. I have a sense of what I would like, but she is very helpful in showing me my options, and understanding the look I am after. I have never felt pressure on any level from her to go a particular direction -- she is always interested in finding me the product which will best suit the room we are doing. After 25 years in the same house -- there are more blinds to replace! I will certainly use her in the future.

She installed new curtains for me that help keep out the cold air. It is a bit pricey but she does it right. Her and her team are just great. We actually having them coming back out to install new wood floors for us as well. She's even bringing samples to the house to leave in the basement to make sure they will work with the moisture in our house. The curtains are fabulous and I just need to vacuum them and don't have to wash them. Wonderful experience!

In October we had gotten an estimate of $10,000 from another decorator for Hunter Douglas blinds & shades for 12 rooms on one level of our home. Obviously we wanted another quote & in November called Theresa at Pike's Peak Interiors after seeing her reviews here on Angie's List. Theresa came out & after reviewing our choices & measuring (she found that the previous decorator had mismeasured at least one window), her quote was about $5,000. We changed 4 windows to more expensive Roman shades, but that only added $1,000 to the cost, making the total with Theresa $6,000. She reminded us that installation before Christmas might be iffy but we were okay with that, & everything did come in & was installed before Christmas. Her installer did a great job, too.
Theresa mentioned at that point that she also does design consulting, & we like her & her taste so much that in January we asked her to help us choose the tile for our upcoming master bath remodel. She found tile we liked that was even more affordable that we'd expected, so that was a bonus. I will definitely call her again as we progress with updating our home.

Everything went great!  We met 2-3 times and chatted on the phone and exchanged emails as well as the project took shape and work started.  Theresa came to my home with fabric books and design idea on her iPad.  Once we decided on everything, Theresa kept me informed about the progress they were making and the approximate date for installation.  She warned me that her installer sometimes (ok...usually!) arrives a little late for appointments and he did (about 1/2 hour), but then his work was stellar too.  Not only that, but I was very comfortable having him in my home.  Nothing went wrong with anything and I'm very pleased.

The experience went very well and I will use her again and again.

I lost my home in the Waldo Canyon fire.  I was referred to Theresa by several of my neighbors on my street who had used her and was also impressed by all of her positive reviews on Angie's List.  She worked with me over several visits patiently guiding me through all of the products I was considering.  Building a new house is so overwhelming under normal circumstances so I appreciated her patience and expertise.  She is also an Interior Designer and she offered some excellent ideas for my home that I do not think I would have received from other similar businesses like hers.  I received several bids but went with her due to her primarily her longevity in the business and her professionalism plus the added bonus of her design expertise.  In addition to the blinds, I also had a dining room valance and draperies made that are gorgeous!  I am so happy with everything!  I would highly recommend her.

Theresa worked with me over a period of four months to design window treatments for my living room, breakfast nook, dining room, master bedroom and sitting area and bath. The project involved huge cornice boards over draperies as well as sheers on decorative rods. We chose fabrics from an extensive assortment of catalogs and when one that we had chosen turned out to be inappropriate for the application she let me know about the problem quickly and we chose a fabulous alternative. Theresa offers her expert opinions but doesn't try to impose her design sense on the customer unless she is asked to. The project was unavoidably expensive but not out of line with market prices. The workroom she used to sew the cornices and drapes did a fantastic job and the installer was amazingly good at his job. It took six weeks from order to install and Theresa was completely accurate and honest about how long it would take when I placed the order.

Theresa came to my home and measured my windows.  She brought with her several samples based on things we had discussed on the phone.  She had great insight on what she thought were the best products for us.  She was very helpful in settling on a color and texture for our blinds.  The installation went very well.  The blinds are exactly what we wanted, they fit great and compliment our basement remodel.  I have already asked Pikes Peak Interior for a quote on another set of blinds for our master bedroom.  I will definitely use them again in the future! 

FANTASTIC experience!  I selected Theresa (Pikes Peak Interiors) from Angie's list, and I couldn't be happier.  In the past, I've had interior designers who have tried to force their style and preferences on me.....instead Theresa brought a large number of samples and let me go through and select what I liked.  She then found coordinating items that went with what I had selected and had good ideas for mixing textures and colors. In addition,  I had selected some carpeting, Theresa had samples sent to me, and after looking at them decided it wasn't what I wanted.....no problem!  Theresa brought out another whole group of samples for me to pick from.  All of the people she had brought in to do the installation were professional and on time.  I wanted some built in cabinets and Theresa gave me the name of an excellent contractor, and when I was struggling with the design; she made some great suggestions.  All in All, she's a great designer.

Theresa was prompt excited and LISTENED. She had great ideas that created a new look and took into account my current design colors furniture and most important my ideas my thoughts and my lifestyle. Not only did the end result WOW me and my family but everyone who has seen our home has been WOWED too! The ideas were on target for budget and results. Theresa is a beautiful woman who lives her life by her word. Incredible to do business with a professional of her caliber. AND! It was FUN! Thanks Theresa.

Theresa  is wonderful and very patient. She has great ideas to include software apps that help with visualizing certain fabrics and design. We have 2 long vertical picture windows next to our sliding glass door, and another window on the adjacent wall. We wanted the design to incorporate all 3 windows for one look, which it does beautifully. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and ideas. She gathers information about the "feel" of your home before giving her ideas.
 She has a fantastic installer, Paul, who is just as professional and careful as she is. His input/knowledge was valuable when working with the adjacent window, regarding height etc.

For the first project (recovering the kitchen windows), Theresa arrived on time and brought sample books showing various styles and options.  She showed me exactly what I wanted and we were able to select colors and order them on the spot.  They arrived sooner than expected and her master installer installed them perfectly.  I could not be happier.  For the second project, I wanted to order a fabric covered cushion for a small alcove seating area in the kitchen in colors and a style than linked various design elements.  After reviewing my home's color and my styles, she had various samples sent directly to my home.  Although she sent a range of styles, they all worked unbelievably well and it was hard for me to choose. Once I made a selection, she came back  to my house to verify the selection, remeasure, and place the order.  She keeps me updated on the progress.
I love working with Theresa.  She is personable, professional and very very good at what she does.  She has tons of ideas...appropriate ideas..for my home's style.  I look forward to working with her again and again.

Overall - Theresa and Pikes Peak Interior are the simply the BEST!  They are so good, we intend to be referring her to future homeowners in our brand new neighborhood.  From the beginning, Theresa's was quick to follow-up.  When we met at our newly built home, she was punctual and we started right away.  The consultation for interior decorating including window blinds and draperies was fun and engaging.  She had visual examples on her digital device so we could picture each room and what could "work" based on our personal tastes and preferences.  After agreeing on a design that was energy-efficient, functionally feasible and aesthetically beautiful, Theresa meticulously measured all of the windows we agreed to cover and came back with a proposal immediately.  We met again to finalize details and an installation date.  The installer was the BEST also.  He was prompt and persnickety and for a project like this, you want them to be!  Afterwards, my wife and I looked at the job they did and we are simply impressed beyond words.  Great Job Pikes Peak Interior!  Keep up the strong work.  I intend to share our experience with our friends and family and utilize your services again in the future.  I highly recommend their work.  They have an outstanding reputation to boot and the warranty they provide seals the deal!

Theresa was really great.  She got right back to me and set up a date to come and look at what needed to be done.  She suggested I keep blinds that did not need replacing and advised that while the other blinds where done to have them cleaned.  She went to bat for me over some blinds that were old and could not be cleaned or repaired and got them replaced under warranty even though they were 13 years old.   The installation of the new blinds went great and was as soon as the they came in.  I was very pleased with her services and would definitely use her again. 

Her communication was key to the success of the project as we live in New Jersey and the work was taking place in Colorado.  She was professional and very effective at taking our thoughts and finding appropriate materials for the project.  We were in constant communication and the project went extremely well with no surprises. 

Theresa responded to our call within 8 hours.  She was able to schedule our initial appointment within 24 hours.  Theresa was punctual and professional.  She had creative ideas and easily recognized and adapted to our sense of style and color.  We are extremely pleased with her service and quality of work.  An added bonus, she is very likable and friendly!

We used angieslist.com to look up reviews on interior decorators. We liked the great reviews Theresa at Pike's Peak Interiors received and gave her a call. Immediately we were impressed with how willing she was to work with my husband's crazy schedule. We explained to Theresa that we had just moved into this house with beautiful natural light but wanted window coverings that would match our eventual decoration ideas. When Theresa arrived, my 4 dogs wanted to make friends. She was very patient with them and put up with their shenanigans while we had our appointment. Theresa listened to my eventual vision for the house and suggested some decorating techniques and ideas of her own that would really work with the house. She made sure that the window coverings we looked at would allow us to impliment our vision for the house while still taking advantage of the natural lighting from the large windows. She was so honest about what she felt we needed! She even explained how a more expensive style wouldn't work as well as the less expensive one in some cases. She made it obvious that she cared as much about our house looking exactly how we wanted as we did and wasn't going to try to sell us something we didn't need! She also did something I haven't been able to do for years, she got my husband involved and interested in picking out the window coverings and how the house would be decorated overall. My mouth dropped when he started getting excited about the different types of wooden blinds she offers! Theresa respected our budget and showed us how to get exactly the look we wanted for the price we were willing to pay.
 Once the blinds were installed, her installer noticed that one of our wooden slats was a slightly different color than the others. It was hard for me to see it even after he pointed it out but he insisted that it was not right and he was going to have Theresa order a new slat and install it for free. I couldn't believe it. This company cares about their work and its customer's satisfaction.
Theresa also does interior design and I am absolutely going to use her services as I decorate my new home. My husband even said she made it fun for him. I would recommend her to any of my close friends or family and I cannot emphasize enough how pleased I am with her services.

If I ever have any design projects in the future, we would immediately call Theresa.  She makes the process of design and planning enjoyable rather than burdensome!  Most of all she is trustworthy, which is hard to find these days.!

Theresa and her master installer, Brian were wonderful and easy to work with.  Theresa was able to offer exactly what I wanted and understood my intentions right from the start.  Her experience and knowledge of window treatments made the whole process seamless and simple.  Although I had a large volume of windows that needed covering, both she and her installer accurately measured all of the windows and the treatments were ordered, hung and functioning within a matter of weeks without any significant problems and they looked terrific!  Considering all of the problems we've had with our brand new house, dealing with Theresa was a pleasure! We would use her services again in a heartbeat!!

Theresa arrived promptly as promised fully armed with samples and answered all questions. She didn't push. Theresa helped me decide which window coverings would work best for our home.The shutters arrived much sooner than we had expected, and a date was scheduled for installation. Brian installed my shutters. No shortcuts and they were perfect.
