PHIL LONG FORD

The service department charged me 3 hours at approximately $150.00 per hour, this included one free coupon diagnosis hour. So 4 hours to diagnose and switch out a bad alarm module when we told them the problem was the alarm. I have dealt with Phil Long for Years because I like ford products and all of my vehicles are early models. This is what you need to know about Phil Long. Their business model is to extract as much money from the customer right now, on the spot. They are not about building lasting relationships, customer retention or good will. In Colorado Springs they are the only Ford dealership in town and the lack of competition has developed the business into a blood sucking entity. Their parts department runs on the same model. They consistently charge 30-40% more for parts then Denver dealerships. I recommend to only use them under extreme distress. There are 3 dealerships in south Denver and Castle Rock area that actually have to compete. It's worth trip to avoid The Phil Long ripoff.

Their North location is terrible, and I wouldn't take my truck back to them. Their service was totally unacceptable. Their attitude and follow through were not good. They didn't fix the problem.
