I have had constant problems with the doors. The quality of the doors themselves was great however the installation has been bad. The deadbolt is hard or impossible to lock and the trim keeps falling off the door frame. The third time I had someone scheduled to come out, the technician didn’t even show up. The fourth time, the trim was tacked down, but it is popping out again and I can’t even lock the deadbolt. GO WITH CHAMPION. The quality of the product and installation is a lot better.

What a nightmare. Do not hire Peakview Windows. It took 4 trips to our house (plus visits where they did no installation work), repeating the same work each time, and they still did not get it right. Windows first: They use a manufacturer called Amerimax. We ordered prairie grids. The grids were not level, and did not match up from one side of the window to the other. The owner tried giving us a song and dance about the house shifting and settling over the years since it was built (which, of course, is one of the reasons we purchased custom windows). We also heard about industry standards (which, according to the Amerimax representative, had not been met). They first replaced one side of the window (the owner’s own staff said they were not right). Then both (again the owner’s own staff said they were not right). Then the entire windows. We had the pleasure of cleaning for hours after they left the last time. Patio door: We insisted on a different manufacturer so we could get a French-style door. The grids were perfect. However, when Peakview unpacked the door, they sliced a corner of the screen, into the frame. And, the handle was chipped. Our communication was ignored for some time. They did not replace the handle, rather used touch up paint. Since I did not insist at the time, I will now have to (very unhappily) live with it. They did replace the screen. But, the replacement is worse than the original. This, we will pay someone else to fix. Finally, on the last day of installation, September 20, 2018, we requested a final bill (we had already paid thousands). We were not given a bill until October 11, 2108. At the same time, the owner threatened to put a lien on our home if he had not received payment by October 19, 2018.

"Peakview Windows and Siding Response 11/8/2018 I'm Shaun *********, Owner of Peakview Windows, Siding & Stucco. First, I would like to say we are very sorry that your experience hasn't been as you expected! I would, however, like to thank you for the report you posted on Angie's List. It gave me a sense of positivity about our company. With over $169,000,000 of damage in El Paso County due to hail, we managed to stay on top of all of our projects. From what I gather, your complaint was a ripped screen that was repaired and a mark on the patio door handle that was painted and buffed out. My service technician stated that you were satisfied with the repairs before he left. The grids on two of the windows did not line up when they are opened. I used standard protocol to replace the glass units first. You were still unsatisfied. I went the extra mile by ordering two brand new windows and paid our top installer to install them at no cost to you. You mentioned the fact that we went to your home multiple times - we did - I think that speaks to our determination to make everything perfect for your home. I am sorry that you felt that we did not do enough. Unfortunately, even though we have gone the extra miles, we still, after three weeks, have not received payment. The perimeter grids were a manufacturing defect, not Peakview's. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. I tried, personally, by reaching out to inform you on all phases of the project but did not get a response. I feel the whole project could have been more positive with better communications. Being in business for over 24 years in Colorado Springs and having over 8,400 homes that we have serviced, you were the first complaint we have ever had. What was frustrating to Peakview was when we were finished with each meeting either the husband or wife would be happy and tell our team everything looks good, only to receive an email the following morning that you were disappointed with the solution. To the Colorado Springs Community, I've spent 21 years serving our Nation in Construction Engineers - U.S. Military and 24 years serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Peakview is VERY proud of our reputation and would like to say Thank You for your support and your business!"

We had old, wooden, drafty, windows (Oldach Windows) in our 25 yo home that you could hardly open. Decided to "bite the bullet" and replace all of them. We had 5 window companies come in and give estimates (Andersen $$$$, Marvin, Champion, etc.) and Peakview had the best windows at a reasonable price, value, value, value. This is not a million dollar home so we did not go for the very expensive (Andersen, good quality but 2-3 times over the cost of the others). Peakview had a very good window, ProView, a very good price, and a very good reputation. Mike Kinner, the salesman, went through everything, including how the windows are built, the energy saving glass, and the excellent warranty. After narrowing down the list to two, we visited the Peakview Windows showroom and Mike again went through everything in detail and answered all of our questions. That finalized our choice. Ordered 13 windows and a back door slider, some frosted for bathrooms, large double sash for bedrooms, hexagon for a bath, etc. The order was taken and final measurements taken in the first week of January. Deposit made and the windows arrived in 6 weeks. Installation would be in a couple of days. A crew arrive on a Thursday and they removed and replaced ALL OF THE WINDOWS IN ONE DAY! They returned the next day to remove and replace all of the window sills (10) caulk around the window and install the back door slider, a half-day job. An excellent job and they were diligent about cleaning up as they moved along. We are very pleased with the windows, the sales, the installation, and the overall professionalism of Peakview Windows, kudos all around. Would I use them again? In a heartbeat! But I hope I don't have to.

These folks were AMAZING from the word GO! Mike, the Sales Representative, was professional, kind, and informative. He truly educated us on different types of windows and showed us the benefits of each one. We decided on the BEST window available and as soon as they were installed, I noticed at least a 15 degree difference in my office. It was SO hot in there with the old windows, and these new windows stopped that unbearable heat from coming in. The living room is substantially warmer (on colder days) versus our old windows. I'm actually looking forward to our next electric bill! :) HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! You will NOT be sorry!

Awesome ?! From the beginning: Last year I got several estimates for replacement windows for our rental property. Peakview's estimate was comprehensive and definitely the best for the money. Since the initial estimates were handled by the management company, I hadn't met the sales person until I made my final decision. After I decided on Peakview, I went to the office to meet the sales guy and actually look at the windows, and make final selections. I met Mike- who was awesome. Great guy- absolutely no high pressure for anything. He demonstrated the window's ability to cut the heat from the sun as well as some other energy saving features. I made my decisions and the windows were installed. They are beautiful. The house was built in 1952 so the old windows were wood. Now they are beautiful and energy efficient. Tom was the installer and he did a great job. Cut to present- I had to get windows for the house I live in. I was almost positive I wanted to go with Peakview, but I checked other places on the internet "just to see" if there was another company out there that I should get an estimate from. I read reviews and knew I was wasting time- I just needed to call Peakview again. I was thrilled that Mike was there! Once again we went through the process of deciding what I wanted and he gave me an estimate. Price was perfect. I gave half down so they could order the windows. When the windows came in, they called me to let me know the installer, Tom, (I was thrilled it was Tom again!) would call me to make arrangements to look at the windows he would be replacing. Tom called me and didn't actually need to come in the house- he was able to figure things out from the outside while I was at work. That was perfect for me. A few weeks later, Peakview called to schedule. Today I had my windows installed. Tom showed up at the agreed upon time, and was awesome from the start. Mike (sales) told him we don't do shoes in the house, so Tom took his off before he did a walk around to look at the house/windows from the inside. He said he would lay down plastic covering on all the carpet (which he did- stairs and then the upstairs hall and walkways) and lay down runners and drop cloths on the wood floors. His two helpers, Travis and Kahn (or Kahm) showed up about 30 mins later and they got busy. They were a well oiled machine. Tom let me know we had some rotted boards and said if I got the new boards he would remove the rotted ones and put the new ones up for us. Really?!?!? Awesome!!! He gave me what we needed and my husband ran out to get them. Tom replaced the rotted with the new. How awesome is that?!? Tom and his crew were THE BEST! As they worked, they cleaned- all the junk that was the result of the old windows being cut out was vacuumed up. All the debris outside was picked up. Everything about this process was painless (and believe it or not, I dragged my feet because I was worried about the mess from having the windows replaced). The entire process from start to finish was professional and they kept me informed. I love my new windows! I didn't mention, the first time I walked into the show room, I also met the owner- Shaun O'Laughlin. I felt very comfortable that I could call them if there was an issue and that alone, is a great feeling. So, there are lots of choices, which is great for consumers- but I encourage you to consider calling Peakview and give them an opportunity to show you what they can do for you. Their window installers are so awesome, that alone, should be a reason to call them. I had a 10 star experience....you can too! FYI - I have 11 openings

Seamlessly. Mike Kinner started out by truly understanding our needs. He was patient with our kids throughout the demonstration of the quality of windows. Ask for the demo with heat lamp to show how heat will stay out in the summer and inside during the winter. Really good. All dates were met and windows looked terrific. We had some custom curved windows and they fit perfectly. Couldn't be happier.

Oh wow! They took out old metal windows and had 2 new ones installed in 90 minutes!! They were a great team that worked like clockwork, and made hardly any mess. The crew worked both outside on my roof and inside and cleaned up beautifully. Now I have an even better view of Pikes Peak!

We needed 12 windows and 2 sliding doors installed after the July hail storm. We ended up getting 3 quotes from different businesses. We chose Peakview and we are happy with that decision. Mike came out and showed us their windows and we were impressed with him and the windows. The 3 installers that came out were also great and they did a great job on all the windows and doors. We may have them out again to replace our other 11 windows in the future.

We had 3 Angie's list recommended window companies come to give us estimates. We selected Peakview. Mike Kinner from Peakview was professional, courteous, presented & discussed several window replacement option estimates, answered all our questions, showed samples, and gave us time to think it over & compare with other estimates. We confidently purchased the Amerimax Craftsmen Portrait windows. The professional Peakview crew that installed them was fantastic, going the extra mile to ensure the windowsills were prepped for the new windows and that they would not leak like the previous ones. The rooms with new windows are noticeably quieter, warmer in winter, cooler in summer. We are very, very happy with our replacement window purchase and looking forward to replacing more down the road... Strongly recommend Peakview for replacement window needs.

Mike showed up at our home. He gave us the background of the company, the services and the products they installed. He listened to our concerns, and provided options and product samples for my wife and I to sort through. He came well prepared and was not pushing us in any direction. We spent over an hour with him discussing the project. He took some measurements of our property and gave us an estimate on the spot. While we gathered additional estimates, Mike stayed in touch without pushing us and even made us aware of excess inventory that could have given us a price break for a particular product. Their estimate was in line with a comparable competitor, but we chose this company due to their due diligence and outstanding customer service. When we agreed to move forward, we met again to finalize the details. Mike even gave us several days for my wife and I to finalize our color selection and styles. The installation was done well and the installers took no short cuts. Their attention to detail was impressive. My house looks like a new house, and the colors match perfectly. The workmanship is second to none. I definitely recommend PeakView Windows and Siding to anyone.

I immediately called Peakview Windows and Rosemary scheduled to have my home inspected for hail damage right away.  Michael came out and assessed my home and we found that 4 older windows were damaged.  He was very kind and understanding.  As promised, Michael had their bid to me by the next day.  As expected, the bid was very fair and specific.  As soon as I got the final estimate from my insurance, I called Michael and came over and remeasured all the windows for accuracy and but the order in.  Knowing that there are quite a few claims pending, I was assured that they would do their best to get the windows installed as soon as possible.  I felt like 20 pounds of weight came off my shoulders.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Peakview Windows and Siding, not only for their customer service, punctuality and understanding but also for the high quality of these windows.

I got quotes from 6 different companies. Some were lower in price but I chose Peakview because of their customer service. Mike made me feel that I would be working with a reliable, customer service oriented business. They also promised that they would take care of any potential issues without added cost. I also chose them because they have been in business for a number of years. When Thomas came to do the measurements he made me feel comfortable and he quickly assessed what needed to be done for a successful installation. On the day(s) of installation the installers were courteous and professional. I was able to work from home while they did their job. They appear to take pride in their work. I had 5 windows that had burglar bars welded in and they were able to install the windows without removing the bars. I also have a dryer vent that vented through the window and Thomas was able to build a "window" that would work with the dryer vent. Lastly, the owner came by on the day of installation to see how things were coming along. After talking to him I could see that he truly appreciated his employees and took pride in the work that his company performs. I would highly recommend Peakview.
