It went very well and we were very pleased with the job they provided, especially the reasonable price.

They failed to clean up overnight inbetween work days. My dog sliced his paw resulting in a $400 vet bill. I got a very lax and uncerned voicemail with a lame apology. The man stated that the crew had worked too late, until dark and that's why the proper clean up hadn't happened.
The owner of the company came to my door the very next morning w a check to reimburse me for the acident. He was very nice and apologetic.

They painted the house and shed in early July 2008. They had plenty of workers when they started and I felt confident that the job would go well. However, Ray left for vacation and left his crew to finish up; this was the problem. When I was told that the job was finished I asked the crew leader if he had inspected the house himself. He said yes so I went by the house and discovered multiple quality issues that included: incomplete paint coverage of trim, lack of attention to detail on the trim painting, over spray of the deck which I had re-stained myself prior to the house painting, over spray of the rocks around the shed, a massive spill of white paint behind the shed (looked like it was dumped) and a lot of scraped paint left on the ground. I pointed out all these issues and left to have them fix it. I ended up reinspecting the house 2 more times that day and still the issues were not all fixed. Eventually, Ray and I inspected the house a few days later and I showed him the issues. The majority were taken care of; however, over spray of the rocks around the shed were not completely cleared (it would have taken a complete replacement of the rocks; they should have raked the rocks away from the shed before spraying it) and it took another week before they finally re-stained the entire deck to get it back to where it originally was. They tried to spot stain but it was not sufficient as the entire deck was affected. While the price was the lowest bid, the final quality of the work was not worth it. I primarily hired PDQ because it is a veteran owed company and I'm retired military but I was disappointed in their lack of attention to detail. It appeared to me that most of their painters were young college kids without much experience.
