Pat's Painting and Restoration LLC

Pat and his guys painted the exterior of our home, a superb piece of work. They did a full-cover prime coat (very unusual!), then caulked thoroughly, then two coats of brush-and-roll top coat to exterior walls and trim, 2 colors. These guys gave our home, whose exterior had been totally neglected for a long time, the best and most thorough painting that I have ever seen. They removed exterior fixtures, cables and fittings (replacing each of them after paint had been applied), so there were no shadows behind or around those things, were tidy and orderly at all times along the way, left no mess, and were friendly and courteous at all times. Excellent, excellent. Absolutely recommended!!

Pat and his team were excellent! They were polite, professional, and very knowledgeable about paint and primer regarding the conditions in CO. They arrived when they said they would, communicated with us often, asked us to check around the house and if we saw anything to let them know and they would take care of it. It was the best paint job we have ever received on the outside of our house! They cleaned up their equipment and placed it out of the way at the end of each day, they protected the deck from paint drips, and taped off perfectly. Out of the 7 other paint contractors that quoted offered the best value! Highly recommend and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I provided an prior review that needs to be amended. I couldn't find a way to edit an earlier review so this should replace it. Overall, Pat's Painting did a very good job. The reason for the extra review is that Pat agreed to do some other items that our no-show handyman was going to do. Pat agreed to pick up the four new replacement doors, paint them for an agreed to price, and swap hardware between old and new doors. I asked him for an extra invoice to cover the unplanned work, but he never did. On his final painting day he said he won't be doing the doors as he only works on items already on site. Had he told me this I could have made multiple trips with my car to pick up the doors. I can only think he was upset that we selected someone else to paint the deck, which he said he didn't schedule time for. I'm sure he would have done a good job sanding and staining it, but his price was also quite high. Perhaps he found a different project that was more profitable. Whatever the reason, his should have told me his concerns early on instead of waiting for the final day.

they were the most professional contractor I have ever used. they were friendly, polite, flexible, prompt and they cleaned up everything . they paid attention to detail and made proper suggestions to enhance the work. they were very reasonably priced and we will use them again.

Pat and his crew did a fabulous job, quality results at a wonderful price. Willing to do even this small job. Knew exactly what materials to use for fiberglass. Very punctual.

I found Pat's Painting on Angies List where they were rated in the top painters in Colorado Springs. For good reason. They take pride in their work and make sure at every level that you will be satisfied and are satisfied with the end result. They initially quoted on refinishing baseboard trim, cabinets, wood doors and window ledges. They completed that job so well that I had them paint the entire 2,500 sq foot townhouse, except ceilings. Some more details: 1. They were the best bid out of three licensed businesses for the initial work. Based on their outstanding initial bid results, I hired them to paint all interior walls. 2. They have the equipment required to do the job: Scaffolding, ladders, drop cloths, sanders, drills, steam cleaners, shop vac and many special tools to ensure your home is not damaged in the painting. 3. They used quality Sherman Williams paints. 4. They carefully removed (and put back after painting) doors, wall and window hardware (including but limited to vent covers, blinds, drapes, and towel racks. They did not paint over or around hardware 5. They moved furniture carefully and fully draped it. 6. They removed their painting equipment at the end of the day or carefully stored it on site (at your OK) in an out of the way place. After EACH DAY they cleaned up and vacuumed the area. On weekends they removed all their equipment so that that you didn't feel you were on a job site. 7. For no charge, Pat's wife Christina helped me choose wall color accents from a Sherman William giant sampler (which is a job that can be extremely intimidating when adding color to an all off-white house. 8. They filled holes and textured to the appropriate finish. For instance if your wall is textured and you need a repair, the repair needs to be textured too. 9. They repaired without charge a hanging cabinet door and probably other things out of scope for the job. 10. They had a feature on their phone that could pick out the hues and color in your existing counter tops to exactly match and/or complement the colors using Sherman Williams paints. 11. They at the minimum, they did two top coats. More if needed. On refinishing old varnish removal, sanding and adding a honey oak varnish, it was sometimes 3 or more coats. On the oak stair ballister spindles and ledges a past owner had applied a substance that made the finish cloudy and permeated to the base wood. For no extra charge, they spent lots of extra time sanding down and adding layers of honey oak finish.

I can’t tell you how much I love their work!! They didn’t mind working on my schedule even though it’s crazy and they listened to exactly what I wanted. After painting everything they designated one day to do any touch ups needed and put my house back in order. They even helped bring things in from my garage that my movers left out there. I have never worked with a company that has pleased me as much.

Work was excellent. Atmosphere was excellent. Work was done ahead of schedule and didn't cost as much as I thought it would. In the process, they found old rotted wood, etc. they fixed it all. I will use them on my properties at every opportunity.

Could not have been smoother. A true professional in every aspect. Only wish I could rate him with A plusses instead of just A's.
