Monster Maintenance

Mark Weidner was a pleasure to work with in all areas of the job.  He started by providing color charts and in fact, it was his suggested color scheme that we ended up choosing.  His recommendation from his years of experience, turned out to be much better than the other possible color schemes we had picked out based on the little sample sheets.  He looked at the shingles and brickwork and gave suggestions based on exposed areas and what colors would have the best curb appeal.  We have received many compliments from neighbors on the color choice.  Mark and his workers were very professional, prompt and courteous during the job.  He made sure the job was perfect and when something didn't look right to him, he made sure it was redone to meet his very high standards.  Knowing we were also having new windows installed, but wanting to get the job finished before his vacation, he wrote it into the contract that he would return to do any touch up work after his vacation once the windows were installed.  He kept that promise and returned and made sure everything was complete and again to his standard, before letting me know the job was finished.  As far as additional scheduling, I had some other contractors working on concrete and a patio enclosure and he made sure he worked with the other contractors to ensure he wouldn't interfere with their work.  When he noticed that concrete was splashed on his fresh paint job from another contractor, he dealt directly with the contractor, and then repainted the splashed areas without getting me involved.  We also have dogs and he let us know his schedule so that we could make sure the dogs were inside when the gate was open to the backyard.  Overall, Mark receives an A+ in my book and I would highly recommend him.
