Mondino Imports

Went in for an air conditioning recharge. Told I needed a condensor and some other odds and ends. When I picked it up they told me the fan was shot but they'd "glued it back together", but the fan would need replacing sooner than later. It came apart and took out the radiator about an hour later. Had it towed back and they replaced the radiator and fan assembly for the price of parts only.
I was a pretty regular customer with my BMW X5. The car had lots of issues. Mondino's could usually fix things and get me back on the road much cheaper than the dealer. However, Mondino's was unable to dignose and fix two electronic problems. To Mondino's credit, it took BMW two attempts to find and fix one of the electronic problems.
I'd say if you have a straight forward mechanical problem, such as brakes, oil changes ($75 cheaper than the dealer with BMW filter and oil) or the like, Mondino Imports is your place. If it's an electronic programming issue, then I'd recommend you go to the dealer.

The experience was as good as it could have gone, considering how much was wrong with the car. Anthony at Mondino showed me every part that they replaced and what was wrong with each one. Lotus parts are not cheap, so to come away having only paid $3500 to fix everything was pretty fair, I'd say.

We took the car in for a quote at the BMW dealership and received a $4000 quote for repairs and sunroof replacement. The dealership was unable to make the sunroof sit flush with the roof.

We then took the car to Mondino's on a recommendation from a co-worker. Mondino quoted us a price without trying to upsale. They quoted on the repairs we requested. Mondino ordered parts and made the car repairs within the price and time estimate originally quoted.

Everything was fixed right the first time. We have not had to take the car back. This is exciting since two other places tried to fix the tail light issue.
