Below are pictures of the "repair" one year later (pics 8/10/16). As you can see the material used to make an angle on the window wasn't even cut to fit. It was cut with about 1/4 inch or more gap on either side of the sill. The caulk used to fill the gap shrank and did not fill the gap. There is caulk available that has a lifetime guarantee. It is $6 at the Home Depot where you shopped for supplies. I am really disappointed in your service and equally disappointed in the way you handled my complaint. I understand there was no guarantee on the work, as well as this was not meant to be a forever fix. However, I would expect by paying $471 for less than 4 hours of work, that materials used to not be substandard along with the labor showing extremely poor workmanship. This fix, done right, should have lasted longer than 1 year. With the pictures it obviously wasn't and it should have been fixed. I was out of town during repair for an extended time and was not able to check the on this after completion. In addition, the owner Bryan who set up the project, ALSO did not check his workers completed project, but was very defensive that the "work" was done right and there is nothing more they can do, we just need new windows.

Everything went very smoothly and the work was done in a most efficient manner.Two gentlemen arrived on time, as promised. One person took care of the caulking and then painting. The other person added the weather stripping to the French doors to reduce the sound in the room. All work was done professionally in a very proficient amount of time and was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Minuteman Handyman (Bryan and his team).

It all went pretty well... two out of the three days they were approx. 20 min late. When new flooring was put in the bathrooms we had an issue with the toilets leaking at the water fill area when replaced. The leaking was repaired and addressed right away. The attention to detail and workmanship was wonderful. They we professional and respectful of my home. They were very informative and offered great suggestions and advice. I would recommend this company to any one, and I will be calling on them again.

Repairs were scheduled within a week of my phone call and two workers arrived punctually on the morning of the scheduled repairs. They explained to me exactly what they would be doing and answered all of my questions. Work was performed very efficiently and professionally. When the work was completed the scraps and equipment were removed and the area was left very clean. I will definitely call in the future when I need work done around my home.

Better than expected. Hot wire was installed along the mesh cover which is tedious work. With extra wire left over they also installed the wire in the gutter which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. The electrical cord was hidden as well as could be and everything was picked up and clean when the job was completed.

"(removed member name), Let me begin by stating that I am sorry that your experience with Minuteman Handyman did not meet and exceed all of your expectations. I am very happy to hear that you were very pleased with the quality of the work that was completed and with the professionalism of your handymen. Please let me attempt to address some of the issues you raised: You thought that you would be paying $50.00 to $60.00 for a 2 handyman crew per hour not for each handyman. When based on the work requested we believe it will be more efficient (and therefore less overall cost to the client) to send 2 handyman we do so. Your task of hanging overhead storage racks is a perfect example. Often times 1 handyman alone cannot accomplish the task and even if 1 handyman could it will generally go faster to have a 2nd handyman available at least when necessary to assist. How long a project will take can be difficult at times to judge. The fact that you indicated the workers were great tells me that they were doing what they are supposed to do. i.e. While there were 2 handyman available to help with the overhead storage rack, 1 wasn't working while the other was watching. They were both busy trying to accomplish the tasks you requested. Also, our work agreement states "per-man" hour for our hourly rate. We as a company have to pay our handyman their hourly rate. If we didn't charge for each of them that would be the equivalent of providing a 50% discount for the work performed. The fact that they shaved an hour off the bill without asking you was their effort to make you a happy customer. Again I apologize for the misunderstanding. Your comment concerning it being ridiculous that we require the owner of a property to sign off for work to be performed on a structure. Let me begin by apologizing that when you called us we did not pickup on the fact that you were renters and not owners of the property. When we realize this we immediately communicate the situation to the caller but in this case it was obviously missed. The reason we have to take this position is because the liability problem that can be created. We carry all appropriate insurance coverage for our business which includes general liability, completed operations, workers compensation, etc. The problem is if we make a mistake such as putting a nail into a water pipe in the wall causing a flooded basement or cause an electrical issue that starts a fire, when we do not have the property owners permission to do the work our insurance carrier will refuse coverage because we have no right to perform the work. Again, I am sorry we did not hit it out of the park for you but would be happy to help you in the future if you would like to give us another at bat. It went very well. They were pretty busy, but worked around scheduling and within a couple of days they were able to respond to my request and were able to come when it was convenient for me. They charged just a flat rate, and that’s exactly what they will charge you. Very cordial and couldn’t have been any nicer, also very professional and I would hire them again.

Bryan came out promptly after we called and explained what our insurance adjuster said needed to be done. He inspected all areas and made some suggestions on how things could proceed. He also made some useful suggestions about other concerns we had that were not addressed by our insurance (a flooded window well) and included a separate estimate for that work. We got his estimate for all work by email a couple of days later and commissioned the work. The guys appeared when they said they would and got all the work done in less than a day on site. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and will be having them do additional work for us in the future. I would highly recommend Minuteman to my friends.

Minuteman came highly recommended by several friends and more than lived up to their reputation. They meticulously planned the project, took us through the estimate in detail, and scheduled the work at our convenience. They came when they said they would, provided all the crew, tools, and materials necessary to complete in the specified time, kept us fully involved in decisions about issues discovered during the work, and left us with like-new decks and railings. From the owners down to every member of their team, they were courteous, hard working, and extremely careful, e.g., to avoid damage to our stucco. They gave us a price that was more than fair. We have already booked several additional projects, and we will use and recommend them for the foreseeable future.

Art, Bryan and Sean were great to deal with. Art answered my many questions and gave us an estimate. He was upfront about what they could do best and what would be better to have a different contractor handle (like painting the whole house.) After the estimate, they worked around our very busy schedule and worked us in. They showed up on time, got to work quickly and did everything in a timely fashion. And the work ended up coming in under the estimate since they were so fast! I will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know.

The technician showed up when the owner said he would, and got right to work and continued till the job was done. He
checked with me, throughout the job, to be sure I was happy with the progress and to discuss the repairs. When he finished the job I signed off on the work.
I am very impressed with this Company, they are professional, fair priced, and offer military discount and gave me a $25 off for first time customer discount.
I will use this Company again in the future.
