The provider told me to make him leave. He became rude and got in my face and in the face of another person that was in the house. He came unprepared to work and then refused to leave when he was asked to leave.

I used HomeAdvisor to find a locksmith & a representative called me to understand my need & give me a quote. They were unable to come to my home and referred the work to Locksmith of Co Spgs, unknown to me. The locksmith did a great job & quickly opened a locked door for me. The thing that upset me was that the initial locksmith told me there would be a $15 onsite charge & it would not be much more to open. the locked door The fee was $119, so I was very surprised for 10 minutes of work & the phone quote. The locksmith had no idea about the quote & as a contractor, they charge $25 for the visit & the rest was for the unlocking of a bedroom door which I thought was a little excessive. The locksmith was really nice & sorry that I was incorrectly quoted & waived the $25 onsite fee. I think if a company is contacted via HomeAdvisor & reaches out to a customer & they will be contracting the work out they need to let the customer know & pay any charges above the quote if nothing has changed from the phone quote and the job OR give me the contractors info suggest I call to get a new quote before they show up.

Work was fast and convenient. The locksmith went the extra mile to acquire hardware I needed and make all the locks in the house work together.

Excellent in every aspect

Tech arrived in unmarked ehicle. Tech very professional, prompt, clean, courteous but like his vehicle and his invoice there were no markings/branding on his clothes to indicate the company. Even asked that the check be in his name not the company. I would recommend an email with the expected workmans pic to help validate my new keys are not "compromised".

Originally gave this business a great rating. the repair however failed and we contacted a professional door installer. They had to repair the damage done by this company and found a jury-rigged plastic shim he had slipped in to make the lock function...temporarily. The laock was not put back together properly, screws did not fit. Charged us $319 to effect an incompetent repair. Will now try to get money refunded thru HomeAdvisor...

Cannot rate Lars highly enough! I had an issue with the lock on my front door not securing and Lars came out very quickly to take a look and alleviated the problem in no time at all! And the cost was extremely reasonable. Lars obviously enjoys and takes great pride in his work; I was most impressed with the great service and 100% recommend!

Rekeyed all the locks in our new home. The project took a while (we were missing keys, so he had to pick several locks to get it done), but he was very thorough and it worked out well.
