I don't typically give negative reviews like this but this was by far my worst experience with a contractor that I have ever had. I called to set an appointment and that went well, the tech came out and acknowledged what I had explained was indeed happening. The generator was turning over but wasn't starting. Since I was also getting a tune up he decided to change the oil and the spark plug first. Since he changed the spark plug, which appeared to be the reason it wasn't starting, it would not start but would idle rough and fluctuate from a low idle to a high idle. Instead of checking the spark plug for the proper gap, which I eventually did 2 months after he left (I'll explain this a little later), he pulled the throttle body apart, spayed started fluid in the carburetor, and messed with the throttle arm but nothing helped the rough idle. After troubleshooting further he thought there was a crack in the carburetor that may be causing the issue and needed to go back to his office to research the problem and get back to me. I'm not unreasonable at all because I think that was the correct approach. This is where I believe everything went wrong. He left and I never heard from him again. I even called the office two times to see what the status was and to see if they had any idea of what the problem was and when I would get this fixed. I never heard back from anyone. So I decided to troubleshoot the issue myself and it ended up being the gap in the spark plug that was causing the idle fluctuation. The spark plug that he put in was either gaped incorrectly or not at all. I adjusted the gap and the idle is fine now. So 10 months after the 'so called' repairs I get a bill for $180 for troubleshooting services that says they apparently missed billing me after the services were performed. I pay the bill so that I don't get into a dispute with these guys, of which I should not have, and decide to write this VERY NEGATIVE review. I guess I should have tuned this thing up myself and saved $180 for service not rendered. My only advise for others that may consider using Lenz Electric is to expect very bad customer service and potential issues.

He arrived at our home in less than two hours, after completing another call.   He was very professional, and explained everything he was to do, and worked hard to complete the job.   Very personable, great communication, and very reasonable charges.   We thought we would not have electrical power for a couple of days, but had it back within three hours.
