I was very impressed with Landscape Masters! I spoke with the owner's wife, Amy, on March 30th about costs and services provided. She answered all of my questions completely and professionally. Originally, we were just considering aerating, but when she described their spring package to me of $90 for aeration, fertilization and seeding, we decided to go with that. We had not had our lawn professionally treated since we moved in 3 years ago and had some issues last year with a fungus. It seemed time for a professional to treat it and give us some advice.
Amy's husband (also the owner), Greg, came out the very next day to provide services! I was very impressed by how quickly we were able to receive lawn treatment. Greg showed up on time and was very professional. He answered all of my questions...as well as my husband's when he arrived home from work. Along with lawn questions, I asked him about some landscaping options in our backyard as well as solutions for our flagstone patio/walkway. He answered everything completely and patiently. He gave me options of how we could do things ourselves and then gave me an estimate of what it would cost for them to do it once I inquired.
I would definitely use Landscape Masters again! It's been about 6 weeks since Greg aerated, seeded and fertilized our lawn and it is very green, lush and looks very healthy! I took some photos for this review but don't see a place to attach them here! Our sister just commented yesterday on how good our lawn looked. I will also mention that Greg gave us a very specific watering schedule that we've been following that has worked great...and is much less water than we have used in the past. We are very pleased with this company!

24 March 2014 - Initial visit went well. Was on time for appointment, friendly & professional. Was told it the estimate would be ready by the end of the week (for the backyard).
31 March 2014 - Had not received estimate. I contacted the landscaper.
01 Apr 2014 - Received reply that the landscaper was awaiting estimate from his concrete guy and that the estimate would be to us no later than 03 Apr 2014.
05 Apr 2014 - Landscaper arrives to do fertilization/aeration scheduled prior to estimate appointment, on the front yard. Informs us that he has not forgotten about our estimate.
Today is 06 June 2014 and we have not received an estimate nor a phone call/email as to why.

"Regretfully, I did fail to respond to the customer. At the time, I had several other jobs going on where contracts had already been signed and had gotten behind due to some uncontrollable circumstances. I was also having a hard time getting together with my concrete sub-contractor because he was also behind schedule. However, as far as this job goes (a backyard landscape), we never did any work for her and the fact that the "work was performed" button was checked in the review is misleading. We aerated her yard and that is a separate division from the landscaping. That type of work is our services division (i.e. mowing, weed eating, aerating, etc.) and is not even the same crew as the landscape construction crew. I had received a voicemail from Mrs. Harris asking me as to why I never called them back and the next day before I had a chance to respond to her voicemail, I saw this review on Angie's List. Therefore, I just let it go. However, I do take the reviews seriously and very much dislike not making every single customer happy. However, it was a difficult time for me and my family and I apologize that I didn't handle their situation professionally. This situation continued to bother me so that is why I am writing this response in hopes of clearing the air a little with the customer."
