Everything. L & M has just been excellent in everything they've done. They go above and beyond helping out if we have extra stuff to be hauled away. Very professional. L & M are really nice folks.

Showed up one day after first phone call for estimate.
Painted next day and completed.
Pointed out that some gables were not repainted (without prompting) and came back and finished work.

The first day the job was to start was rainy, so they came the next day. I really appreciated this, they recognize that exterior painting must be done during dry weather. The job was completed in 5 days, the trim took more time than they had planned. My home has more trim than anyone realized. They helped with paint choices (I had already made the choices and even tested the paint on different places on my home ) and Kevin had recommended that I choose a slightly darker body color the the upstairs dormer, which has cedar shakes, as opposed to the rest of the house with horizontal boards. I have received numerous complements on the colors of the house and the accent color on the dormer. The brothers who work for Kevin were thorough and took pride in their work. At the end of each day, the paint was put away, ladders were put away, and anything that had been removed from the house, such as exterior lights, were replaced. They were very respectful and worked hard.

Mr. Valdez was referred to me by a landscaper. I phoned Mr. Valdez and coordinated to have him come to my home for an estimate. Mr. Valdez did not show up when he said he would, so a week later the landscaper who referred him to me called him and he was at my home within the hour. Mr. Valdez quoted me $1800 to caulk and paint the entire exterior of my home, trim included. I paid him $900 up front at his request. For the next six months Mr. Valdez cancelled every time he scheduled to start painting my house, each time with a different excuse. When he finally showed up to paint, the electricity on my street was out for the day, and he did not have a generator. He started the next day, but then claimed that he had not included painting the stucco in his estimate. Since that was not stated on the written agreement we had, he painted the stucco for the quoted price. He did a good job of painting the house, but what a hassle to get there!
