KITCHENS BY DESIGN

The cabinets were as beautiful as I anticipated. Joy was extremely helpful in guiding my selections, making suggestions and giving advice when I needed it.

These folks were great work with, and the finished kitchen is absolutely beautiful.  We got three estimates; KBD had more options than other companies and their prices were great.  We had some trouble with the lazy susan cabinet, but met with them and got it all straightened out to our satisfaction.  Their installer was very nice and knowledgeable and did a great job - the only complaint is that he was late several times.  In the end, it all worked out and the kitchen looks fantastic.  Julia and Joy are both very professional and responsive.  We are already working with them again for another project

It was well designed, well planed, and accomplished on schedule coordinating several different workers from other parts of the total bathroom upgrade.

We were very pleased with the result of the project.  Joy was always very helpful and guided us through our kitchen upgrade.  She did offer footprint changes and offered suggestions to think about and consider and we choose our cabinets.  We went with a higher end cabinet and are very pleased with the results.  Joy came to our home but we also visited her showroom many times.  Even without out an appointment she was always happy to see us and followed up when the cabinets were installed.

Things went fine.  She came out to the house & took measurements (did not just take our or our contractor's word).  She was very helpful, willing to make changes, make suggestions, and worked good with my contractor.  We went with her design and ordered materials from her, but our contractor installed them.

Everything went extremely well.  To start this remodel process Joy really took time to help us learn about all levels of cabinets and counters (and of course, faucets and fixtures and shelves and sinks etc.).  With all the options out there it is extremely easy to get lost without someone who takes the time to teach and Joy truly has the heart of a teacher.  As much as we appreciate what she helped us learn about cabinets and counters and all the things that she specifically sells we appreciate even more how she helped us learn about everything else that would go with the remodel like replacing flooring, upgrading electrical, upgrading lighting, etc and she always had a really wonderful reference for someone she had proven history working with.  As a result not only did we get our cabinets and counters from Joy but we also got all of our other contractors "from" Joy and that helped tremendously.  On top of sharing all the experience and expertise and helping us design and do these three rooms, Joy actively searched and found the best price by far for our custom cabinets and suggested several ways to save some money while still getting super good quality.  She is excellent at doing the drafting and can present floor plans from several angles and that really helps reveal what the layout looks like on paper before you begin in reality and she is excellent at doing the design to include the other things all those areas need.  We really were amazed at how accurate all of the original papers were to the finished product and also with how well everything worked together.   This was a wonderful experience all around and we really highly recommend Kitchens By Design as a result.
