A busy contractor who stayed in good contact with us during this month-long project. Was mindful of the impact of removing the tree on our neighbor's yard and replaced sod that was removed there, too. Did a fine job of managing the details of all aspects. Worked well with our landscaper who was not familiar to him.

George gave us a bid for all the things we wanted done, but because of the cost, we ended up whittling down the project quite a bit.  He allowed us to do some of the work ourselves (demo, hooking up the sink fixtures, painting, etc), and he discounted the quote for us to get it to a level
that we were comfortable with.  He is very easy to talk to, and if you have any problems with the work that was done, he will send someone out to re-do it.  We did have some issues with communication between the job leaders and the workmen, one small area of the bathroom was framed incorrectly at first, but they came back out and fixed it.  My main frustration was with the length of time it took to coordinate all the people involved (plumber, framers, stone people, etc).  From start to finish, the job took over a month and a half.  However, everything turned out beautifully, and we can't wait to use our new bathroom.

Horribly, George Matty pretended to care about my elderly parents situation while he was charging them over 3 times the going rate to fix their problem. He did not submit the correct paper work the insurance company required so they would not cover the claim. He hung up on the phone on me almost every time I called him.
