I am very excited to be a part of Flying Horse Realty, serving the El Paso County area! I have resided in Colorado Springs for 17 years and Parker, CO for 5 years. I have a B.S. degree in Public Relations and continued my education to obtain a paralegal certificate. After a Paralegal career, then employment as a Real Estate Assistant, I am now a Real Estate Agent with Flying Horse Realty in Colorado Springs, CO. I am also a member of the National Association of Realtors®. I subscribe to their Code of Ethics, a set of values that guide me through every transaction. I have also obtained my Graduate Realtor Institute designation (GRI) which signifies a dedicated and knowledgeable professional within the industry. To Prospective Homeowner or Seller: I highly recommend Kathy Winnick for all of your real estate needs! Kathy’s experience and real estate savvy far exceeded my expectations and I wouldn’t think of using anyone else. The home I purchased was quite outdated and required a bit of remodeling. Kathy offered great advice analyzing the sales in the area and appreciation rates, allowing me to offer a great bid knowing that the work I would put into the house would offer a return in the future. Despite other bids on the house, I got the house I wanted and a great investment! After purchasing my new house, I needed to sell my existing house fast. Kathy’s pricing strategy, artistic photos, and staging advice helped sell my house in one week with multiple offers above asking price! I had a concern with the sale because of some unpermitted work on the house, but with Kathy’s legal background she was able to ensure me that it would not be an issue and made sure everything was disclosed and all documentation was filed resulting in a smooth closing. Kathy is a wonderful realtor and we highly recommend her. She was very patient with us during the home search and buying processes. We looked at many, many houses and even had a contract fall through due to structural issues but Kathy maintained a positive and supportive attitude the entire time. We were rolling our eyes at ourselves, but Kathy never did and assured us she loved her job, working with people and helping them find just the right house! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathy and will work with her again should we need to sell or purchase a house!
