+ -1 moreRecently I asked Angie's List for help in finding someone in my area who could fix my shower. The faux marble panels were coming off the wall and needed to be reglued and braced back upright. Angie's list promptly gave me three contractors who might be able to help. Although none actually did that kind of work, one, Johnny Concrete, was able to give me a faux marble manufacturer who specialized in that kind of repair. I called and they sent someone out the same day and fixed it for the price they quoted on the phone. I had tried calling several contractors before with no results; they offered to redo my shower for $6000 - $12,000. I can't afford that right now. The repair cost me $225. Angie's List and Kast Marble did me right and I am very pleased.
Description of Work: Repaired, reglued, and recaulked faux marble panels in large walk-in shower that had become separated from the drywall. The panels were leaning forward and could not be pushed back into position without disassembling each one. The repairman disassembled them, reglued each one, and braced them back into position then recaulked everything. He used braces I could remove and discard after the glue dried saving me money and him a trip back out. He cleaned everything up and worked hard to make the estimated time quoted to me. It was a big shower so he ran over time a little but that was understandable. He certainly did not try to stretch out the time to get more money. He was very professional and in and out as rapidly as he could be with a job done well.
