Took my Suburban in for a routine oil change, while requesting they check the reason for intermittent heat from the heater fan. Also, the steering column had dropped some.
Price for the oil change was reasonable ($35-40). The heater fan seemed reasonable. Kand S at first thought the steering column needed a new bearing, but upon overnight work concluded that it simply needed tightening.
Overall, I was pleased that Kand S could service my vehicle promptly (the first day I requested) and reasonably without adding unnecessarily aggressive preventive work.

What popped into my head about them is that the engine was failing and my truck had 125,000 miles on it. I thought that was it; it was going to die. They figured out what it needed, they used used parts to keep the costs down and they did what they had to do to get the thing running again. They got it back on the road with minimal cost to me. They gave me information about replacing the engine if I wanted to go that route. They did everything that I wanted and they gave me all the information so I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. They were quick, on the ball, easy to talk to, and friendly. They are also my go-to guys.

I've dealt with Kand S for years, and felt it was finally time to file a report.These guys are excellent. I would never trust any of my cars to anyone else, and I've dealt with A LOT of repair shops. For this particular situation, I had tried to install a battery myself, and screwed it up somehow - jiggled a wire loose - whatever. I called Kand S, they came and towed the car the next day, fixed the problem and it was ready that evening. This is just typical of their usual level of service. You pay what you expect, they do the job and they are never looking to make a fast buck or take advantage of anyone - as so often is the case with auto repair shops.
