We had a fantastic experience with Just Details Painting! The estimate was thorough and accurate, the work was excellent, and the communication was solid throughout the entire process! I highly recommend for your next painting project!

Overall we are happy with the way our home turned out. I will start with my short list of gripes.

1. Each time I attempted to contact the company via telephone I ended up speaking with a message service, due to the nature of my job, I am unable to deal with them returning calls while I am at work and due to the odd hours I do work, I sleep during part of the day. The call service issue made communication difficult which is why I had to depend on email.

2. The painters did not put my house numbers back on after the job. Putting the house numbers back onto my house after painting is part of the job as far as I am concerned. Although a minor issue that I was able to correct myself, I should not have had to do this.

3. They left some trash in my back yard. Again a minor issue which took a short amount of time to deal with, but we should not have had to deal with it.

4. Punctuality for the job was an issue. The first day they arrived about 30 minutes late. This was not a big issue, however the second day they did not arrive till close to 10:30. Due to arriving later in the day I had to take vacation hours from work that really should not have needed to be taken. I made it clear that I had to leave for work early afternoon and I would not be available to have the front and garage doors open. Had I not taken a last minute vacation day I do not believe these would have been done in a timely manor.

With the exception of gripe #4, these are very minor, I only mention them to explain the blocks I gave a lower rating in. Having to take an unexpected vacation day was a big deal.

Over all I am happy with the services provided, the house looks amazing. Nancy was great to work with. When I contacted the company I spoke with Mike, he was polite and we scheduled an estimate. Nancy arrived for the consult and she walked around the house with me and was able to send me an email with a quote the same day. After quotes from multiple companies, I chose to go with Just Details. The quote they gave me was $500 under the next cheapest quote, and Nancy seemed to know her stuff so I was comfortable. I called Mike to accept the bid and told him we had the colors picked out already. He suggested they paint samples on the house to ensure these worked for us. Nancy arrived the following day and painted all 3 colors onto our garage. 2 of the 3 worked for us so I sent an email notifying him and gave him two different colors we were interested in. Nancy arrived and I talked with her as she put the new samples onto the garage. I was not happy with them either and Nancy mentioned she had an idea. She called me about an hour later and suggested a color. We ended up loving the color and went with it.

The workers arrived on the scheduled date to accomplish the job although they were a little bit late. They were very professional and finished the job in a short 1 1/2 days. They did not arrive until close to 10:30 on the second day. I ended up having to take the day off from work so they could paint the front door and the garage appropriately since they needed to be open. After I approved the paint job, they finished cleaning and departed.

During the walk around I was focused on the paint and did not notice they forgot to put the house numbers back onto the house. Due to the hour, I sent them an email requesting they come back to put the numbers back up. I never did hear back from them, even after a phone call. Being such a minor issue, I put them back on myself.

As I stated already, the house looks great and overall we are very happy with the end product.

Mike returned my call for an estimate the same day I called. He came to the house the next morning.  He was friendly, professional and above all, very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Mike brought the painting crew and introduced them the first day and they showed up on time and were just as professional.  Any questions or comments I had were welcomed and addressed.  This is the first time I have contracted a painter.  I have always done my painting myself and am uncomfortable with paint spraying in the house.  Mike's crew painted with brush and roller.   They were very considerate about my house being in disarray in order to paint, and did their best to keep the inconvenience to an absolute minimum. They painted 5 rooms (closets, walls, and ceilings) 2 bathrooms,, a foyer, stairwell,and 4 recessed skylight areas with 2 complete coats of paint in 4 days.  Mike did an inspection himself before it was declared finished.  I have already had discussions with Mike about future projects.

I contracted with Just Details to paint my basement finish in August 2014 for $2250.00. The painters showed up without the paint at about 8:00 AM. The office had to call us to confirm the color which we had given them previously. The painters spent less than 3 hours to paint 1250 sg feet of area, only painting ceilings and walls and they did not prime anything. I went down to look at the product and found the walls to be streaked and some areas not painted at all and the ceiling looked awful. I questioned the painter before he left and he told me it had to completely dry first. I called Mike, the owner, to come over and look at the job the same day. I told him that I worked in construction many years and never had seen that much area painted in 3 hours and done in a professional quality manner. I also told him that it was hiway robbery to charge $2250.00 for three hours of painting. His comment was that it costs a lot of money to run a company.  He did agree at that time to have the painters come back the next morning to back roll the ceiling and after he left he lowered his price to $1600.00.
The painters showed up the next morning and spent 30 minutes doing the ceiling again. I called my contractor J&J Construction after they had left and told Jeremy (Just Details was his recommended contractor) I was not satisfied with the quality, and he told me he would call Mike that same day. He called me back and said that Mike told him they had used the wrong paint and he agreed to redo the entire area. Mike sent another painter out by himself who was suppose to repaint all of the basement, which he did not do. He spent about an hour prep and said he had to go and get the sprayer, which he should have had when he showed up. He was gone about three hours before he came back and then maybe spent another hour and said he would be back the next morning. He did not show up the next day so we called Mike and he said he was sent to another job. He did send a lady out to do some cleanup and evaluate an area where the other painters had gotten paint on our stucco. That was taken care of a while down the road. We were sent a bill for $1600.00 from their office, before the job was complete, threatening us with collections.
 I had to hire another contractor to come in and redo the work Just Details refused to do. Mike did agree to take $350.00 off of the bid for the other contractor, but Mike refused to come back and do the touch up after all of the other contractors had finished, which is part of the original contract. We a had face to face meeting with Mike and told him we were disgusted with the way this whole paint job had turned out and there was no way we could give him a good review. Mike also denied telling Jeremy at J&J Construction that the paint he used was the wrong paint.  In my 10 years in the construction industry I have never had a contractor refuse to finish a contracted job. Going back and forth with Mike put us over a month behind and we would never use Just Details again. Their quality does not match the price you pay.

They painted my front room in its entirety, including patching cracks to the old plaster on the walls. I can't tell where any of the cracks were before. They did a nice job cutting in around the ceiling and trim.  I had water damage to the ceiling due to a leak from an upstairs skylight and they did a nice job getting that sealed and covered up. They went out of their way to go back to the paint dealer and get the color matched, as the paint I had purchased did not match the color I needed. They were prompt and efficient with their time.

They did a wonderful job. I would use them again.

Their service is outstanding. They did a wonderful job. My wife is very happy which is the most important thing. The price was very good. As soon as they came to look at the room, they were there that afternoon to do the painting right away. It was the same day. I just put in something to do some painting done and I would use them again.

They are awesome. The quality of the paint, appearance and clean up was done exactly the way you would have dreamed of. We trusted them in our home and it was done incredible well.

I was not overly impressed with them. They were okay. I thought that they were a very expensive company. It was fairly quickly that he came out and gave me an estimate. They did the job. I thought the quality of service was great. I would not use them again.

Staff and painters were all very professional and very kind to work with.  Very considerate of using drop cloths and booties to not mess up your floors.  Came out early to make sure the color chosen was the one you truly wanted on your walls which was refreshing.  OUTSTANDING!

I was referred to Just Details Painting from a realtor friend who just had his and his brother-in-laws house painted. SO I got to see up close of the work they did. I scheduled an appointment for early February and Terry showed up as promised. He inspected the house and we went over the estimate and what options I had with the paint. He was very professional and cordial since I was not ready to paint till my tax refund was received. I was unsure of what colors to repaint and he showed me several samples. Once I picked a few colors, he came over and painted my choices on the side of the house. Now I was really confused of what color to choose, I kept changing my mind and he came over several times and painted more samples for me to view. He was very patient.....

After having Terry come over 5 times, I narrowed down my choices. Tre McKnight, opearions manager, who happened to be in the neighborhood working on another house, came by and we discussed the work and colors. He actually helped me make the final decision on the colors, so I scheduled the work.
We scheduled the work for the following week and the painters showed up on time and started right into it. They prepped the house and caulked everythng in sight. Once the prepping was completed, they started to paint parts of the house but unfortunately it started to sprinkle and rain - they called it and said they would be back bright and early in the morning.
They showed up the next morning and by the end of the day, 90% of the house was completed with the exception of a couple of areas in the back. They came back the next morning and completed the rest, retouched a couple of areas and cleaned up.
I was very happy with their workmanship and prefessionalism. I would definitely refer and quot;Just Details Paintingand quot; to anyone, and I have to a couple of friends who are also looking to have their homes repainted. BTW, I had 5 estimates and they came in the lowest.

I am writing this review because I made a bit of a mistake - by using another painting company and not going with Just Details who has done work for us in the past. Boy, did I learn my lesson!!! Bottom line is this....Just Details did a FANTASTIC job for me. They were on time, had great pricing, were friendly, and they paint like no other. Their lines a super straight - honestly, perfect!! When they do a job for you, it is clear a professional did the work. I am blaming my poor decision in going with someone else on a temporary brain malfunction, but I will not make that mistake again!! I am writing this so you don't either. I am a picky person, so when I say that they are good, they are REALLY GOOD!!! :)

Came out and gave an estimate. Showed up on time, completed the job on time and on budget. We are very happy!

Nancy arrived on time. Todd arrived later. Nancy led the team, and she was very professional and informative. I would have them back again for another job if the cost was reasonable.

They were very clean, left no mess behind, and were on time.

This is the 3rd time we have used Just Details for painting around our house. They are great. From Terry to Greg they are fun, nice,
professional and efficient. We will continue to use Just Details for all of our painting needs.

The contractor arranged to have his pricing when I picked up the paint. Excellent, professional paint at a great price! Scheduling was easy and I received a call a few days before the job to confirm time and location. My painter, Nancy, arrived on time and worked very efficiently. A pleasure to deal with! I am very pleased with the quality of work. Very neat and clean. The bedroom I chose to have painted was a fairly dark color and also had a checkerboard pattern on one wall. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no additional charge to cover that. All in all, a great experience.

After they painted the main house I had gutters put on so they came back to paint the gutters and touch up the house. There was a lot of bad wood on my house that needed to be replaced. They actually went beyond what most painters would do; they replaced a lot of bad trim wood. There also were a couple of small spots on the foundation that needed concrete patching and they did that also. They did a very good job and were very professional. The price was fair; it was a little higher than estimated. They estimated the job but when they saw how much wood needed to be repaired they asked if they could adjust it. They might have stayed with their original price had I said no but it would not have been fair to them so I agreed to a higher price. They were very responsive; whenever I called them they got right back to me. They fixed any problems I pointed out with no question. They were there when they said they would be and finished when they said they would.
