JSW CUSTOM DECKS

John Worrell did a fantastic job on replacing our 26' x 26' deck that was rotting away. His was the lowest bid out of 5 estimates by $5000 and he was able to start work in less than 2 weeks. The other contractors wouldn't even be able to start until 3 months out. John is a one man show (no other workers on his crew) so if you are not in a rush, keep that in mind. This was our rental house deck that was being replaced so I wasn't in a hurry. He completed the job in 5 weeks; would have been sooner but bad weather interceded. He did a great job on keeping me informed on the progress and walked me through the process from teardown to final walkthrough. He also tore down and disposed of an old shed and was meticulous in cleaning up the site once he was finished. I truly appreciated his workmanship and customer service. We needed a contractor to tear out our 40-year old, 600 sq ft deck, and replace it with a new composite deck. JSW Custom Decks was one of three contractors we called to provide estimates for the project. Ultimately, we ended up hiring him because of the fact that (1) he is a sole proprietor and does all the work himself, and (2) his estimate was more reasonably priced than other estimates. Because of the size of the project, the deck took about 4 weeks from start to finish. John is the consummate professional and a true craftsman. He kept us informed of the timeline and upcoming inspections throughout the project. The deck passed all inspections on the first go-round. As a result of his design-savvy and craftsmanship, we now have a beautiful new composite deck. We couldn't be happier with our experience with John, and would hire him again in a heartbeat. My only advice to potential customers is that if you want to hire him, plan ahead, as his schedule tends to fill up quickly!

John was very responsive and we are very happy with his work. He did the deck work for 2 of our neighbors and he came highly recommended. His price was reasonable, and he always delivered what he said he would. We now have a beautiful deck in the back, and we can't wait to enjoy it this summer.  He is very easy to talk to and ask questions. He is honest and we totally trust him. He even sent us a hand written "thank you card" for our business after completion. That was very nice of him.

They came on time and the work was completed in a timely manner. They were very accurate in the work that they were doing. I felt like the job they did was a more of a difficult job to do and they still charged a decent amount.
