Fantastic!

I highly recommend using Jared as a buying or listing agent. My wife and I needed to move out of state quickly and were worried about selling our house in a tough market. Jared alleviated all of our concerns and showed us how to prepare our house for showings. He marketed our home on multiple platforms and websites and found us a qualified buyer in less than 45 days. His agency, Stuart Scott, is the best in Colorado Springs and Jared used all of their resources to make our listing successful.

When my husband got a great job offer out of state, my biggest concern was how we would handle selling our house in Colorado Springs in the down market. It was an older townhouse without many of the amenities newer homes have (and that buyers are looking for). Jared was so helpful in advising us on what updates would be the most beneficial in selling the house. He was also able to refer us to various professionals (a handyman, flooring company, etc.) that did a great job on our house for less money than we'd expected. Jared also had a wonderful photographer take amazing photos of our house for online real estate listings.

Our sale was made more difficult when a couple of houses in our neighborhood were foreclosed on, but Jared was always positive and encouraging when we spoke with him. He did everything possible to attract potential buyers to our house. Between the great photos online and Jared's marketing efforts, we had tons of showings. Friends of ours that had a house for sale at the same time were amazed at how many showings we had.

As hard as Jared worked to find us a buyer, it was once we actually had an offer on the house that it became apparent how important a good realtor like Jared is. We got a lowball offer based on the recent sales of the foreclosed properties in our neighborhood. Jared's extensive familiarity with the local real estate market came in handy, and he was able to explain the difference in value between our property and the foreclosed properties to the buyer's agent. He came up with a reasonable counteroffer, and the buyers accepted.

Jared's strong negotiation skills also came into play after the inspection when he responded to the buyers' request for a lower sales price in lieu of repairs. He definitely got us the best deal possible. And when the appraisal came back low (again thanks to those recently sold foreclosed properties), Jared once again went to bat for us. He provided the appraiser with more appropriate comps, and the appraiser came back with a far better number.

I am so grateful that we used Jared to sell our house. He was always available for us when we had questions or concerns, and he was so reassuring and positive throughout the entire process. He really knows the local area and is a great negotiator, two qualities that I know contributed to us getting the best price possible for our house.
