In addition to not completing the job, he requested that the oven to be installed be purchased and on the premises prior to the start of the job. This was done - $600 - and no installation. It will cost me $50 to return this item to the seller. All I can say - extraordinarily unprofessional.
Description of Work: This Company (Innovative Remodel - Steve Crouse) was recommended to me by a friend. Steve came out and gave me an estimate for removing a wall and installing a microwave. The next week he requested a down payment of 1/2 of the total cost in order to "schedule me". I did give him the down payment and was put on his schedule 2 weeks out. He cashed my check immediately - then the problems started. On the first day that he was to start the job, he called 1/2 an hour after he was scheduled to be at the job site. He had an excuse about the job that he was currently working - it had taken longer than expected. He re-scheduled me for the next week. On the day before he was to begin the job, he called again to cancel and re-schedule for the following day because he "had not gotten a lot of sleep". Finally he shows up - on the third day that we had scheduled - 15 minutes late and tells us that he "cannot do the job because God told him not to". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Do not recommend!!!
