I bought the and quot;4 oil changes for $100and quot; coupon. Otherwise the price would have been $40. The service included vacuuming and washing the car, and an inspection. They brought me back to the shop to point out what they found. I explained that I was in the market for a new(ish) car and did not want to invest much in repairs, but I did want to ensure the car was safe to drive. They informed me that it was safe to drive and did not try to coerce me into buying any other repairs. When I first got back in the car there was an unexpected smell due to the air freshener. If you do not want the air freshener smell, make sure you let them know so they leave that part out.
While I was there a lady brought her car in because the oil drain valve was stuck. Honest Accurate Auto Service fixed valve and did not charge the lady. I thought that was quite nice.

Not well. Other than some general maintenance the head mechanic said it was a great car and that he, himself, would buy the car. We bought the car, and the next day it began to leak oil onto our garage floor. We took the car back to the mechanic and he, then, told us that there was a rear main seal leak and that it would cost close to $1000 to fix it. They admitted that they made a mistake and missed diagnosing the problem When my husband asked if they would give us a discount on the services since it was upon their recommendation that we bought the car, they agreed to knock of $50. Needless to say, we are furious. They not only gave the car a glowing report, but the lead mechanic said that he would buy it. Not only are they not accurate, the mere fact that they are not willing to rectify their mistake leads me to believe they are not honest either. The name and quot;Honest and Accurateand quot; is the farthest thing from the truth. Sadly, you cannot trust this company, and I am very disappointed that they made it onto Angie's list. I would recommend that Angie's list remove them from their approved service providers.

"This was an unfortunate event for the customer, especially when the vehicle was being sold "as-is" and the dealer involved did not stand behind the vehicle. We performed an extensive "pre-purchase" inspection on the customer's vehicle. While our "pre-purchase" inspections are very thorough, we do not disassemble the vehicle during the process. The vehicle was, in fact, very clean and did appear to have received good care. While on the car lift, the entire underside of the car was inspected for unusual wear and tear, leaks, worn parts, and deferred maintenance. No leaks anywhere were observed during this inspection. Our foreman even commented that everything looked so good that he would purchase it himself. Either one of two things occurred, both beyond our control, that would have prevented us from identifying the oil leak: 1) the area in question was thoroughly cleaned and de-greased prior to arriving at our facility, or 2) the seal began leaking after the vehicle was inspected and driven back to the customer's home. We do our best to inspect every system of the customer's vehicle so that our customers can make an informed decision and negotiate intelligently with the seller. However, there are times, just like this, through no mistake and no fault of our own, there are hidden problems observable to even the most highly trained eye."

Great, overall. I haven't had any problems with my Acura, HonAc has simply performed routine maintenance on it (it's now 5 years old). I tend to do a few of the services myself, however, since their pricing is a little steep on some of the most basic things: replacing air and cabin filters and swapping winter tires. I have also noticed a shift over the years to more closely match and quot;dealership styleand quot; services and pricing. They have an overall schedule of services they'd prefer you to follow, even though the car's manual doesn't recommend such frequent intervals. Despite this I trust them.
They have a shuttle service that is fantastic as well.
I originally took our Civic there because we were having numerous troubles at our dealership (which had recently changed management). After a standard dealership service (timing belt replacement) the car had some serious rattles. The dealership had us on a wild goose chase, replacing numerous expensive items. I finally was fed up and took the car to HonAc--they immediately found that the belt was too tight! We had paid about $1500 to the dealership for non-required repairs! Needless to say I will never use that dealership again.
I will continue to use HonAc for our cars--we purchased a new Subaru recently and we will take it to HonAc when it's warranty is up (since they are not authorized to perform warranty repairs on cars).

I found this company in Angie's list, and am glad I went to them. I dropped off my Mazda first thing in the morning to get my defective thermostat replaced and the coolant swapped out - car is 6 years old and was due a coolant change, and the thermostat wasn't operating properly(stayed open all the time). I took it to their shop over on Tutt Blvd - the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. I provided a factory thermostat for the job, which they had no problem with. Job was completed in a couple of hours, and they gave the car a wash and vacuum to boot! Definitely would take it back for service there again!

They performed work as advertised. I have been driving two months now. It works great. I have used Randy before when I had a Honda Accord. I had the car for about 6 years and had numerous things done to it. Multiple timing belt services, brakes, etc. The work was done as advertised. They will charge you and may be higher than some shops but you can be assured that your car will be repaired correctly. I have never had a car damaged, dents, damaged mirrors, leaking oil after repairs made. All this has happened at other places I have tried in town. The industry is full of shoddy work. It is nice to be able to take a car to a place and not have to worry about it. I recommend them. Please take your car to them so we can keep them in business. They have spent big bucks on their new shop to get state of the art equipment. If you want something for nothing don't waste their time.

I have used Honac for many years. I have a 2004 Honda CRV but had them work on my 1989 Accord also. I have never had a problem of getting my car in the same day or the next day and service is usually done that day. I have tried to deal with the Honda Dealer here in Colorado Springs and they just do not have the knowledge for my Honda like Honac does. They use Honda parts and that is very important. So I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Though it took all day (I delivered the car at 7:30 AM), the team at Hondac got the work done. However, an additional problem was reported late in the day (maybe 4 PM) that would require keeping the car overnight for them to fix. Fortunately, I have a second car and an understanding spouse. I would have liked to have been contacted earlier in the day about the nature of the second problem instead of being told late in the day that they would need to keep the car overnight to fix it. Nevertheless, the problem was addressed the following day. The transport Hondac provides to and from the shop to my office was a definite plus.

Randy and his workers treat you like a professional. The waiting area is immaculate and user friendly with a computer and free non-alcoholic drinks. Randy stands behind his work, is honest and will only do what is best for you and your car. If a repair can wait, he will tell you so. If it is a part he has replaced and it hasn't lasted as long as he feels it should, he replaces it free of charge.
