Homestead was suggested by some people I knew and ended up having them replace my roof after the big hailstorm of July 2016. No complaints, did a great job from start to finish, including through the quotation process and the follow-up. Everything was explained in detail so that I could understand what they were doing. Would highly recommend.

Awesome experience. I worked with Steve Moon as my primary contact at Homestead Roofing, and he was attentive, gracious, fair, honest and prompt in all my dealings with him. I am pleased with the entire process from my initial phone call, to the shingle selection process, and finally the roofing work and follow-up after. As long as Homestead is around, I will use them for all my roofing needs, and will gladly recommend them to anybody. I feel that the pricing was very competitive and the work was high quality.

Had a little communication problem at one point, but all worked out well.
Very easy to work with. The crew showed up on time and were very pleasant. Cleaned up very well. Installed the shingles quickly and accurately. Roof looks great!
One sign (to me at least) is how well the crew works together. This crew worked well together and were whistling and seemed liked they really enjoyed doing the work. To me, that means they do a good job and are happy with how they are treated by the company.
One thing that they caught and fixed was, the previous roofer shingled over a roof vent hole. They found it, fixed it and installed the vent like it should be.
Tanner has come by a couple of time to check on the quality and every time brings out a magnet to check for nails.
I would HIGHLY recommend HomeStead Roofing.

What a great customer service business!! I called Tracy for a roof inspection as we were getting conflicting reports and are selling the home. Tracy came out and spent almost an hour on the roof inspecting and taking a digital video of the roof. He identified some minor areas needing repair and explained that the minor damage I saw was due to blistering not hail damage. Tracy quoted me a very fair price and had a crew at my house within days. I feel much more confident about the roof condition for selling the home. Plus, the video is available should there be any questions from a potential buyer. Tracy's prompt response, quick service and follow up are refreshing. I would definitely call him for other repairs in the future.

Tracy did a quick inspection to ensure that the gutters needed cleaning before starting (he didn't want to charge me for something I didn't need). He cleaned the gutters quickly and recommended re-sloping three of them and adding screens to block the leaves and sticks. I requested an estimate on that work and it took him quite a while to respond. The estimate was reasonable, but I've decided to defer that work until next year.

Homestead did a great job, completing the job in the timeframe they estimated and with no hidden or additional charges. Workers took care around the house, cleaned up after work was completed, and the end product looks great. Passed inspection with no issues. We've had a few roof replacements with other contractors in the past, and this was definitely the best job I've seen. Other contractors leave roofing nails / other items that I would find for years after; Homestead did a much better job cleaning up.
Presentation before beginning work was also excellent - we were able to select some shingle options to ensure
a good look on our house. We had several bids, and Homestead was close to the lowest cost - but their approach and proposal definitely looked the most professional and complete. We would definitely use them again if we ever need to.Response from Homestead Roofing, Inc.

They came when I was not home and left a card. They told me they would let me know if there were any problems and so far I've heard nothing. They arrived on time and did the work as needed.

Tracy Brookland of Homestead Roofing was one of three roofing contractors I contacted to replace a hail damaged roof. He provided me with a detailed estimate of the repairs required and stated in the estimate that he would match the estimated costs the insurance company would be willing to pay. His estimate matched the insurance estimate almost exactly. In addition, his estimate stated he would provide a better shingle than the insurance estimate covered. He installed a Class 4 Impact Resistant shingle on all roofs for the same cost the other bidders wanted for a standard shingle. The other bidders wanted over $1000.00 extra to install class 4 shingles. The crew used to perform the work were punctual and polite when interacting with either myself or my wife. They completed the work and did a thorough job of cleaning up when the work was done. Tracy and his team were very professional and did an outstanding job. The new roofs on the house and sheds look great.

I called Homestead Roofing after our home inspector recommended a professional evaluation as a followup to the inspection results the home inspector had provided. Tracy Bookman, the owner of Homestead Roofing, called me back soon after I had left a voice message. I was needing a quick roof evaluation so I could meet deadlines on the short sale we were trying to complete. Tracy said he would do the inspection and get me the results despite it being the start of Memorial Day weekend.
I was truly impressed with his roof evaluation and the report he quickly provided. The report included a video of the roof and all areas that were of concern. The report was delivered to me by a website that Tracy has set up to show the inspection results. It was like I was standing beside Tracy as he pointed out items on the roof. The end result was Homestead Roofing's report provided us with the confidence to go ahead with the purchase of our new home-to-be. Once we close on the house I will have Homestead Roof come back to repair the few minor issues he pointed out in his report.
