Everything was fine. He was definitely on time. I would use the subcontractor again, but I will not use Home Depot again.

I was really getting fed up and looking forward to waiting another who knows how long to get it loaded in my truck. Much to my surprise and delight, a friendly young gentleman loaded the grill up for me and just made my day so much nicer. HIs name is Michael and I will only return to the Home Depot because of his customer service. He should be given a raise. And the rest of the employees including someone called an expeditor should be courteous instead of being snobbish and rude. Let Michael teach them or something. . .

I had purchased flooring at the store at Woodmen and Powers. I did not like how I was treated and did not want to go there to make the return. I went to this store at Woodmen and Academy since I do all my shopping there. Tina R worked so hard to get this done and finally had to have the other store credit my card and personally drive the items over to them! She went way above and beyond. I always get exceptional service at this store.

y.We purchased an electric cooktop replacement for our home. The hole for installation was one inch too small in both length and width. In addition, the cooktop required being directly wired, as opposed to the older top that plugged in to a 220 volt receptacle. The sales person appeared to be very uninterested in selling us an appliance. He gave very little information, but since we knew what we wanted, we wrote up the sale anyway. He told us that it would have to be ordered but would come in 2 days. When the paperwork was done, he said that it would come on Wednesday, which was 6 days away. We did not learn that the unit needed wiring and the adjustment until we were home, so went back to the store to arrange for installation. Kimberly, at the service counter, was extremely helpful and polite, making us feel more confident about our decision. She said that we would hear from the store on Monday morning about arrangements. Lorraine called to tell us that we needed to give money up front before installation. We did that. She indicated that we would hear from their installer. No one called on Monday. On Tuesday we called again and spoke to Lorraine. She did not have any information and indicated that she was having trouble with the installer but would get back to us. On Wednesday we called asking that some information be given about installation as the appliance would be delivered that day, and the agreement was that the old cook top would be removed. She did not call back before it was delivered. We called Lorraine again, who said she had sent our phone number to the installer. When we asked if we could expect to hear today, she said that it might not be until the next day. We were also told that someone would then arrange a time to come to look at the job, and then set yet another date to come install the cooktop. That is a long time to be without a cooking appliance. We found a local service who were willing to come quickly to install our appliance for us. Both a carpenter and an electrician would come out on the same day. A different person at Home Depot took our call when we called to cancel our installation and request a refund of money paid. He was polite, efficient, apologized for our experience and refunded our money. We will purchase any other appliances we may need from some place else. I gave a D rating based on the good experience we had with Kimberly at the service counter. An F grade would otherwise be more accurate for this experience.

There's nothing to dislike. It took time to get our door since it's a specialty order. But the subcontractor they used was very professional. They were on time and they cleaned up. They did a great job. I will recommend them.

The Home Depot design people were very polished and professional in their review of the various countertop options. They were very upfront about the fact that Home Depot contracts with, well vetted, outside firms for the installation of the Home Depot retailed product. After the product and color was chosen (after liberal use of home samples) the cost estimate was made. The folks HD even indicated that if we would wait to make the formal order, the Silestone was going to go on sale the next month. We took advantage of that as it was worth maybe $400.00. The product was installed by the subcontractor who did a quick and high quality job.The only real problem we had was the scheduling of the installation. The contractor is used all over the state (Colorado) by Home Depot and precise scheduling in an (apparently) busy market is tough. We had a time scheduled, at which my wife took a day off of work. The contractor did not show as he was hung up in a distant city on another job. We had to reschedule with a loss of another vacation day. To their credit, the HD folks, upon a complaint call, issued us a gift card as compensation for the inconvenience.Overall, we had a good experience. The product is great, the cost was reasonable and right on estimate, and the installation quality was superb.

We were very satisfied with the carpet as well as the installation. They redid where the seams should be in a much better design. They were able to work around some flaws and still get the carpet installed.
