I am a fully insured, fourth generation contractor with 20 years experience doing business in Colorado Springs, Monument, and surrounding areas. Our strengths include siding and trim replacement, interior/exterior repaint work, deck staining, and interior painting. As the business owner, I personally supervise all jobs, and work with a small team of insured workers whom I have personally selected for their cleanliness, honesty, moral integrity and dedication to performing quality work. Barry and his team (Joel, Daniel, Juan) hit a home run on every single aspect of this job. The team was on time, very clean, friendly and respectful, did a fantastic job, and were very accommodating when it came to quirks in our schedule. On top of that, the cost of the job was WAY more reasonable than other bids we received. I'll definitely work with Barry & Team next time I need painting done.

The project went well. Barry's painters did a really good job taking care of the details. The painters were friendly , easy to get along with, and respectful. The final quality of the work was very good. Barry himself helped us with the color selection by bringing a sample and painting a small area for us to see. That helped us select the right color for the house since we were moving to a new color.

The crew from Hemmert Painting was the best I've worked with bar none. I chose Hemmert Painting to paint my house because of their commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and extensive experience and knowledge of their trade. They worked efficiently and communicated clearly the process and progress of the project. They aren't the least expensive but are well worth the cost. I would not hesitate to hire them again and highly recommend their service to anyone.

I had hired Mr. Hemmert to paint my house a few years ago. The attention to detail and professionalism were top notch. So, when the time came to stain my deck, I naturally approached them again. Another amazing job: great communication, great price, excellent results. 10/10 will use again.

I can not say enough great things about Hemmert Painting. Barry Hemmert is a wonderful and conscientious contractor. He communicates better than any contractor I've worked with and is very precise and detailed in his work. Made sure we knew the pros and cons of different types of stain, assisted with color selection and adjusted with our HOA rules of needing to truck in water to power wash the house. Cody, the project foreman is equally nice and also a great communicator. He and his crew were on time, friendly and did an absolutely fantastic job. Our house has never looked so good since we bought it. I can whole heartedly recommend Hemmert for any painting or staining work you need done.

Barry was professional and well prepared. He painted the entire interior of the house before we moved in. We liked him immediately. He listened to what we wanted and was easy to talk to. He painted samples for us and it turned out we didn’t like our original choice! So he contacted an artist friend who came to help us with colors. The house is painted beautifully. Coverage is good. Lines between the trim are sharp. That was very important to us. He did a great job!

The whole job went great! Barry and his team did an outstanding job. Barry was patient and responsive, as we worked to figure out what exact colors we wanted for the house. His pricing was reasonable, and well worth it, considering the quality of the final product. His team--Cody, Leroy, Dedrick, and Eloy--were awesome! Very upbeat, friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend Hemmert Painting & Exteriors--will definitely use them again for any other painting needs.

Barry's service is both high quality and flexible. Repainted all of house main body and trim, plus gutters, included pressure washing, filling in and priming of all siding problems, replaced siding and trim where it was damaged. Coordinated with a gutter contractor to work around the removal of gutters and then gutter replacement. His people were friendly, courteous, and mindful of social distancing requirements (painting was performed during stay-at-home lockdown for COVID-19.) Cleaned up materials every night before going home.

It went really well. They were able to schedule me on short notice. Did a superb job despite some bleed through issues. In some rooms applied a third coat of paint to deal with the old-color bleed through. Were cheerful, professional, and concerned with my satisfaction - I was highly satisfied.

Excellent! We initially hired Hemmert Painting to paint the interior walls and trim on a couple rooms of our house, but ended up adding more rooms, sanding and re-staining the stair railings, and removing wall paper and painting a bathroom. We expected a lot from Hemmert and they came through with flying colors. The communication was excellent. Their patience was commendable as I went back and forth on what exactly I wanted done and colors. Their professionalism was on point as they took great care on being punctual, polite, and tidy. To top it all off their work was excellent. It was a big project with cathedral ceilings, painting all the trim white, and re-staining the oak stairwells, but their work was excellent. We're extremely happy with the results and will be hiring them again for additional interior and exterior work. Thank you Barry and crew!

Several years ago, we hired Barry to paint the exterior of our house. He did an excellent job so when we needed our interior painted, we didn't even consider anyone else. What really makes Barry and his crew stand out are their professionalism, their attention to detail and the time they take to really prep the walls before painting. They filled every nail hole and prepared other areas that had been damaged or worn. They worked quickly and efficiently and were always very polite. And they also did a great job of cleaning up at the end of each day. The result is absolutely beautiful! It almost feels like living in a brand new house (quite a feat for a home that was built in 1987). So happy and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Barry and his team did an excellent job - very professional, fast, and their quality of work was outstanding. He scheduled an estimate very quickly - and completed the work within a week, which happily exceeded my expectations! Barry did an outstanding job communicating with me throughout my painting project. He promptly answered all my messages and calls, and during my initial estimate appointment thoroughly explained the process, answered all my questions and offered suggestions for specific paint and techniques. Although he wasn't the cheapest painter in town, I would gladly choose his company again as I have 100% confidence in his work and service.

Barry Hemmert was a life saver. I was deployed overseas when my HOA notified me I needed to change the color of my garage. This is easier said than done when I'm not there in person. Barry and his crew did an exceptional job of painting the exterior of my home. The house needed a lot of prep work because of peeling or damaged paint and loose siding. They clearly put extra effort into the surface preparation which is the key to a long lasting paint job. Barry and his crew were extremely polite and courteous in all of our interactions. They completed everything when they said they would and the invoice matched the quote. But most importantly they did a superb job of painting everything including nice crisp lines on all of the trim, gutters and downspots etc. (and I am a perfectionist.) Definitely a five gold or platinum star rating in every category... I really could not imagine there being a nicer or better painter out there.
