Took them a while to get to our car but I trust them to do it right. It's like the owner of the Transmission Clinic tells me - Bob (Hellem) is great, if you can get him. Man, he's a busy guy. (timing belt/cover, AC belt, alternator belt, PS belt, blower motor, wiring)

Hellem's Auto Repair (719) 533-1606 is the Best! The owner Bob believes if you take care of people they will come back. He is very honest and he never overcharges.

I use them quite a bit. They are not the cheapest in town but they are honest and do good work.

Tremendous work by Team-Hellem! This shop is honest and they do great work. Bob and his crew are professional and highly competent and they have a broad experience base in all types of vehicles. A few years ago, they replaced my Volvo's timing belt and water pump; when I purchased a very used 2000 Volvo recently, I went back to them to get virtually the entire suspension replaced. Again, they did outstanding work. Their labor rates are good relative to other shops as well. This is the kind of shop you go to when you're not quite sure what's wrong with your vehicle and you want an honest appraisal of what is wrong and how much will it cost to get fixed.

Bob and his son's were absolutely some of the best people I have dealt with. They are very honest about what you need and what you don't need. We were in a time crunch, headed out of town for the holidays and Bob and family saved the trip for us. The ac compressor had seized-up and the alternator was barely strong enough to keep the vehicle running if the battery was low. I received estimates from 3 places but already knew I was going to Hellem's Auto just from the referrals I had received. Their price was 40% lower than anybody else! The work was done, we got on the road on-time and our trip went without any issues, well at least there were no issues related to the van!

This is, in my opinion, the best car repair shop in Colorado Springs. I have taken all our cars there over the past 3-5 years, and they have always been professional, courteous, and done excellent repair jobs. They are honest and straightforward, and will tell you if something doesn't need to be done, or will try and find the best way to make a repair happen in a reasonable budget.

Hellem's Auto Repair did excellent work on my vehicle. My brakes are fine. They're very honest. They're very skilled and they only recommend what's needed. Some places want you to do all kinds of stuff that aren't necessary. They only do what really needs to be done and not more. I'm on a budget, so it's helpful when I have someone who tells me what I need to have done.
