I had some specifics about what I needed, it was not followed and when I called my concerns the management was totally unresponsive and rude. Never had called a national headquarters but did in this case & although they were nice there was still no attempt to satisfy or work with despite having been a loyal customer before. The employees are fine but the owners are rude and have no problem solving or customer service skills.

I was a bit concerned by a negative review on Angie's List but I took a chance and was delighted. Just Awesome! ** Jeremy (the plumber) was fast and efficient. He fixed both sinks and restarted my pilot light. Love that guy! I will definitely hire again. Thank You!

On 8/19/16 I hired Handyman Matters to put in a bathroom fan. I was told it should take about 2 hours. I purchased the 2 hour special for $199 but was told to have other jobs for the handyman to do just in case he finished early and I did. He arrived early which was fine I was home so he took out the old and put in the new fan in 40 minutes. Then we turned the switch on and the motor was running. Being the naive homeowner that paid the professionals to put in the fan, I thought it would be working. The next day when taking a shower the fan was not taking any exhaust from the bathroom I called them on saturday and left them a voice mail about the fan not working. I did not receive a call back on monday, so I called them back later that day. I was told they would have to charge me $20 for each 1/4 hour they where here. They told me that the ventilation pipe to the outside could be clogged, but even if it was clogged that should have been checked in the hour and 20 minutes that he had left in the 2 hour $199 special. They finally set up an appointment a week out to come over just to check the exhaust pipe to see if it was clogged. As it turned out,the pipe was not clogged.The guy then took out the fan saying it was defective, and then after he took it out he wanted to charge me for that when that should have been tested in the 2 hour $199 special. At this point, he still had 1 hour and 20 minutes and and even after he did a few other projects he left 15 minutes early when I ran out of projects. When the guy told me he was charging me to take out the new fan that he said was defective I had him put it back in. I said I would find a professional to put in a new fan. He reinstalled the fan and at that point we turned on the fan and it seemed to be working fine. So 1 and 1/2 hours later the fan is working and it was not a bad fan from the manufacturer but put in incorrectly the first time. So no I would not recommend this company for any type of work.The so called "customer service" at this company was not helpful at all, and in fact made no effort to make the issue right. We had a great experience. Our technician Josh was prompt and very professional. He accomplished all tasks as quickly as the task allowed. In addition, he explained everything he did and did not try to add extra work.

It went very well with both projects being completed. It took a little longer than expected but the backboard was an out of the ordinary project to get done.

It turned out very well. It took a few weeks for him to get hold of us. But, that was okay. It wasn't something that needed to be done immediately. So, it was alright. We were happy with what he did. It cost more. It was an extra $40 for their fee or whatever he said. I was kind of surprised that they had that. Their price was a little high. I was not expecting the additional charges. He was very nice and professional. They could have responded quicker. He did a pretty decent job on the stairs.
